Lovely place friendly staff clean we had sausage roll homemade scone and latte

Went there for a quick coffee and cake. Plenty of seating inside and out. Coffee was good as was the cake. The staff were friendly, prices better than the coffee chains. Over looking the beach and sea, what more could you ask for. Happy to recommend.

The thatch is in a nice location and there's plenty of seating outside. The cafe is quite nice and the outside seating area is also pleasant. The food is average and slightly overpriced but it's because you are on seafront.Avoid the Greek salad, it's definitely not a Greek salad.

·

Nice little eatery right on the sea front, some tables outside when the weather is nice. The food was good, nice selection too. What we saw while waiting for ours looked very good also. Would recomend and reasonably priced.

Used to be great. Baguette and grand sandwiches have no veggie option. Veggie breakfast uses barn eggs! Nice location and nice staff but some odd decisions.

·

Love it here and like sitting in the sunshine after a walk along the Seafront to have a Cuppa and scone.

·

Great little venue with great food and an exciting array of cakes and fancies which I'll try next time I'm in there. Absolutely zero complaints about food, portions or service provided. The street view really does not do this place the justice it deserves .... A hidden treat in the public view waiting to be discovered

This is a nice little place with a very friendly Irish manager who was incredibly friendly and helpful. The tables and menus were sticky, but the ketchup bottles were clean if any drips or marks! We ate once for dinner and once for breakfast. Food was generic, but well executed and honestly priced. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Toilets clean and well maintained. We feel the cafe could do with a touch of decorative love but would happily return. You can play pitch and put from next door and there is access to the beach just down from the promenade.

We stopped here on a very windy morning to get out of the rain and were very pleased to find a cosy and friendly cafe serving a really good selection of food including delicious breakfasts (til midday) and lunches. I opted for the full English breakfast and was really pleased I did - really generous and well presented serving and very delicious. My hubby had a breakfast baguette and got food envy, though his was good too. We were also really impressed with the mini picnic lunch for our toddler which had little sandwiches, a pack of quavers and lots of fruit and vegetables on a plate, which she loved. The service was efficient and really friendly and it was in a great location just above the beach. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful views of Lowestoft beach, a play area of the kids and a little putting green. The food and coffee are amazing, only down side of this place is the length of time it takes for food to be sent out after ordering. Could do with a few more hands in the kitchen especially in the summer months when it’s mad busy
