A very nice public house with pleasant staff and customers.

·

Nice cosy pub with great beer choice and good food. The staff were all friendly too. Dogs are also allowed inside.

·

Used to come here in 2020 with late husband so very fond of it.. occasionally pop in but more difficult on my own. Drive past and the lights look so welcoming.

·

Was staying in Stowmarket for a couple of nights and dropped in for a bite to eat. Food was amazing atmosphere very congenial would recommend highly.

I took my wife, 2 young children and a dog here for lunch and it was really good. The pub is old and full of character. There is also a good size beer garden and play park outside. The food was good value and to a good standard. The staff made is feel very welcome.

Wow. Exceptional service. Bless the chef ! Sorry us, plus that big table taking it to the wire on ordering time. You were fantastic. Gorgeous chips. See you soon. X

Wonderful pub friendly atmosphere well kept beers landlord a laugh a minute Wife and I have found Our new watering hole

The worst steak I have ever had..... literally every bite was crunchy where it had so much Grissel..Only 1 veggie option (which I think is against the law) and they cook all deep fried food in beef fat so veggies/ vegans can't even have chips!Would give zero but added 1 star because We felt sorry for the single barman who had to table serve, take orders and run the pub all by himself.

Excellent fish and chips. Shame about the Styrofoam pack and disposable cutlery. The clifftop garden is nice but rather bare, with no shade (though in Lowestoft any umbrella would blow away any day of the year). The pub inside looks nice. Probably not worth a detour but nice if you're in the area.

What a little gem! One of our local pubs, shown massive improvements over the time I've lived nearby. Delicious food, thank you chef! And incredibly kind and natural service from all members of bar staff! Well done! Outside area is great for children and the bar and restaurant area clean and accommodating. We'll be back!
