Lovely little pub very friendly made you feel very welcome. We had a few drinks and Sunday lunch. The food was excellent as was the beer.

Really fantastic meal! The chips were amazing! The tempura vegetables were crisp and cooked perfectly. The staff were happy to make a smaller portion of an adult meal for my younger son. Very polite and helpful staff, spotlessly clean, bright and airy - a really great meal out.

Wonderful pub, amazing food, fantastic staff..... Called in on the off-chance and darn had we did. We'll definitely be back when we're Next in the area. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

How incredibly welcoming is this pub?! we went for my 30th for lunch! There was a warm welcome as soon as we walked in. The location is ideal for families, pet owners and all else. They have car parking too which makes it perfect. The FOOD WAS AMAZING! Many thanks to the lovely chefs for making about 20 superb dishes and both the owners making our experience from London one to remember. I wish you all well for the future and would absolutely love to visit again! xx

Just had the perfect Sunday Roast. Delicious food (will be copying the swede and celeriac mash), exceptional welcome and lovely setting. Kids sealed the approval by licking their plates clean (sorry!). See you again some time :)

It was excellent . One of the best Sunday lunches we've ever had actually . Belly of Pork , the Beef and the Lemon Posset .

This pub has had its ups and downs and this time its certainly on an up! Had the belly pork and it was delicious - also had chips which were the best I'd had in a long time. Really recommend it 5 stars all the way.

We had a family of 6 meal on 1 Oct 2020. They've had recently reopened under new management. Fantastic team & the food was super delicious. Can't fault it in any ways at all. They ambiance was light, airy & friendly. Harry & his team has done a great job.The next day, 2nd Oct 2020, we hosted a private Funeral Wake for our Mum/Nan here. It was a very difficult day to say the least. But again, Harry & his team did us proud. Yet another amazing spread & great service. All our family & friends could not stop talking about how brilliant the food were. We really hope they will be there to stay as we really love the food. They also made sure (strictly) that people adhere with the Covid rules of No Mingling. So, yes! I would strongly recommend this place for food & beer. It's simply amazing!
