Tides reach chip shop in Waveney

Had two portions of chips yesterday and they were absolutely brilliant , cooked to perfection and generous in size. The cost was very reasonable, I would recommend this chip shop to anyone.

if you want to eat good fish then skip this place. Fish and chips dripping with oil. Waiting time 20 min. I really don't recommend it

A traditional seafront chippy with lots of outdoor seating.I enjoy their battered sausages, but find the chips a little on the stodgy side.Still, it always seems busy, and the location is perfect if you want to eat within sight of the waves.

Save your money, this is really bad fish and chips! Greasy fish the size of a child's portion and the chips,some of which were raw were also greasy. My pickled onion was also off. I have grown up with my parents selling award fish and chips so have some experience of a good meal!

Just been down to the seafront and visited A&b fish & chips and had the most delicious portion of chips I've had this year. I would recommend that you try some from this chip shop because I was not disappointed

Always used to go here because it was good value and enjoyable. Visited today fish less than a child's portion for £6 . Chips not cooked,, middle was uncooked.Should have complained there and then, but I came over unwell and we went straight home. Good food has definitely gone from A & B fish n chips. We will now be going elsewhere.

Awful experience tbh, the fish was small and very greasy and then we had a few raw chips in our portion which was absolutely disgusting... washed down with a warm coke because the fridge had broke ... wont ever be back.

Up all night after eating here, the small portions of chips were almost uncooked and batter was very thick. Fish uncooked in the middle and odd tasting. Disappointing as it used to be a lovely place to go in a nice location.

I asked for a large cod and chips and what a disappointment! minimal portion and the cod was like a key holder, was incredibly dry and blunt, the chips were a mix of over cooked and undercooked very green and the new chips were mixed in with the old chips and they were very mushy, I ordered two large portions of cod and chips for me and my wife and for my daughter cheesy chips in which the cheese looked like it was decades old all this for £20 come get your deal ladies and gentlemen because this is quite possibly the worst fish and chips you’ll ever get!!

Avoid this place. The fish(cod) is very small for £6 it looks like they are getting 2 to 3 pieces from one that a regular chippy serves. The fish had a very strange taste I'm sure it was off. The sausage looked like it was done in a microwave as the skin wasn't brown. The chips aren't much better. We threw ours away. Will never go back and wouldn't recommend to anyone or anything really.
