Village Fryer in Waveney

Not happy, ordered scampy and chips. Got home, scampy almost black. Clearly not an oversite as it is obvious they were over done, but stil the guy wrapped them up and handed them over as if all was well. Won't be going back. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

Normal fish and chip shop... Meal deals are really good value...

Delicious. Popped in when I stayed at the holiday park up the road in September 2020 and the only negative thing I can say about this place is they're not near me........but at the same time I love my chips so in a way that's a good thing

Moved to Kessingland on 10th July... Tried others but village fryer is by far the best.. Won't go to any other..food exceptional and very friendly people A++++++ in my opinion xx

Great place, food is fantastic (kids loved the fish cake in batter). Nice friendly staff.

Good service from the girl at the front but the fish and chips were the worst I’ve had. The oil was old and made everything taste bad, fish overcooked and poor quality, clearly been in the freezer a while and was crumbly. Shame as I was hungry but binned the lot.

Lovely crisp batter on succulent fresh fish with perfect chips prepared to order. My Number 1 chip shop. This place is second to none!

After a 8 hour drive from our house to kessingland I phoned to ask what time they were open to. The lady said 8.30 although there info said 9. I said see you in five mins at 8.20. She said yes. I arrived at 8 25 and she shouted they were closed. Extremely annoying and wasting my time. Get your hours sorted

Best fish and chips in Suffolk, I had the haddock which was out of this world, the chips were perfect to, very reasonably priced and they offer a delivery service, the village fryer is highly recommended.
