White Horse Inn in Waveney

Absolutely wonderful pub and restaurant. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the food was truly delightful. Our Sunday roasts were really lovely, as we're out other dishes, and the team couldnt have done enough to make us feel more welcome. Dog, kids and older human friendly - we had a fantastic time. We would recommend to everyone. Thank you! 🙂

Lovely pub, serving freshly prepared dishes and the desserts are beautiful, especially the lemon cheesecake.We had scampi, and fish, freshly prepared and thd homemade pizza got a thumbs up from my son.Also very dog friendly and the little convenient store on site is perfect.Highly recommend a visit if in Corton.

What a brilliant community pub that openly welcomes visitors.During our visit to Broadlands Sands Holiday Park the 6 of us went for a walk following the coast and on the way back popped in to this pub for a warm up drink.The main bar was busy with locals watching the football so we went in to the other bar where it was quieter and then out to the conservatory area where we found some comfy sofas at one end and settled in.The IPA was lovely as was the Lurcher stout. Cups of tea were had by two of the ladies, no sweet sherry for them this time 😁.We met Ghost the beautiful rescue Husky who is clearly adored by those who go there as well as some other well behaved dogs so the pub is very dog friendly.We also noticed quite a few other groups of walkers popping in.We did get a tad rowdy with our laughter and had a great few hours there without any hassle. The only photos we have focus on someone impersonating WallyWe already had our food sorted at the caravan so didnt eat there hut what we saw being served to the tables looked yummy.A great respite on a nice walk

The best food we have had for a long time... Great Sunday lunch, good prices and the staff could not do enough for you! We will definable be going the a lot more!

Great place to stop for a bite to eat and a drink. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Only a small walk down too the beach. Located in the lovely corton. I had cod and chips and I have to say delicious.

Must visit proper local pub, staying over the road at waterside, tried their bar but had no atmosphere so wondered over the road to the white horse. Unfortunately had already eaten but menu looked great, very fairly priced drinks, free pool table and dart board, barmaid or landlady very polite, helpful and made us feel very welcome. not many pubs around like this anymore. Really lovely way to spend the evening.

We visited this lovely pub whilst staying nearby for a few days. We had great service, everyone made us feel thoroughly welcome and made a fuss of our dog, and we were delighted that he was able to join us while we tucked into a huge portion of fish and chips in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Went in with my mother and brother yesterday, I can honestly say the fish and chips where most probably the best I've ever had, highly recommended. They also had 'Green Jack' beer on which was faultless. Definitely going back but won't be driving next time so I can enjoy more than one pint. Friendly staff too!

It's still lockdown, but they were building a gazebo for the outside area so are getting ready to open. Corton is a lovely village and we were here for the shop. I didn't have a mask, to go in but the friendly lady made me a coffee and we sat outside in the sunshine on the chairs and tables. Plants and second hand books were available to buy outside but I can't comment on the inside of the shop. There is a lovely garden and playground area for children. I will definitely return.
