The best garden centre for miles. It's independent of the chain garden centres. Excellent restaurant and gift shop. The plants are always in good condition, love the alpine section. Car park was being improved last time there. They also run coach trips through the summer so pick up a brochure. Excellent on site food shop.

The check out is always so slow. The staff aren't particularly friendly or professional. The managers and owners are distant and don't appear at all interested in the way their staff work, and the stock is prohibitively expensive for standard items.I wouldn't mind if the checkout staff weren't so slow and didn't seem so uninterested in serving the customer.I have been a resident of Brookmans Park, and customer of the Dutch Nursery for 60 years and I've seen it drop in standards, and professional stock growing ever since Mr Henn ceased running the business.I sincerely apologise if this review appears harsh, the management are more than welcome to contact me. However, unfortunately, the Dutch Nursery has become a generic Garden Centre.

Bacon sandwich was cold and the lemon Victoria sandwich lacked flavour. Normally food high quality, this time fell below standard.

Great produce in farm shop, meat, veg, fruit and preserves prices are on the high side. Garden centre is average for what is available for this time of year but also pricy. Cafe very busy and the staff not knowledgeable as to what is available on the menu and very little advertised, again slightly expensive. Service wasn't great either. Tables not cleaned either after customers leave.

Great fruit and veg, you pay a bit more than the supermarket but lets just say you get what you pay for! Friendly staff , I just wish you could pay where you weigh and walk straight back out without having to do a tour of the nursery to get to the till

There is racist member of staff by the name of alex, who felt following me, my wife and 5 month year old baby in pram and going over to the counter to point us and warn other members as if we are thieves. Incredibly confrontational despite covid rules, rude and doesnt seem understand paying system over a £1 sausage roll. Inspecting bins and presenting to us packaging despite us holding the packaging .

Always get my tree here and for certain postcodes there is a recycle leaflet to assist you. Good butchers and a great Cook range for those that like quality ready made meals. The Cook desserts are really super yummy. Worth a visit.

Always great plants, but now great selection of Traditional Xmas decorations , and gift food from a variety of local suppliers. Wide range of fresh fruit and veg also. Take a few hours out for a nose and stay for a tea or coffee.

Great garden centre with a large selection of good quality plants. They also do some lovely pots at good prices. Indoors there is a selection of garden furniture and other items. There is a restaurant for refreshments after shopping . . . if you have any money left.

First visit and I was very pleasantly surprised. The farm shop has a wonderful range of fresh meat, cheese and deli items as well as some interesting condiments, drinks and snacks. The houseplant section is small but offer beautiful, well looked after plants. I will definitely be visiting again.
