It's the first time for a long while since I can honestly say that I had enjoyed a pub meal but last Monday was a exception to the rule and I would like to compliment the chef and staff at this establishment for the presentation and quality of the meal we received. The soup was superb as was the fish pie (which should be their signature dish) all served hot and presented well, congratulations will certainly make a point of visiting this pub very soon.

Really impressed with the service (and food) we received today. After a very long journey, we rang to ask if they could still accommodate our booking as we were running late.Couldn’t have been more helpful.Great table service, the food was delicious and quick to arrive. This is a definite place to visit if in the area or if you’re looking for somewhere near jct23 of the m25.It’s worth the detour.

Went there for the first time this evening driven past so many times over the years first time tonight and was welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommend to eat there a lovely cosy feel. Don't know about the food as haven't eaten there, saw other diners who did have food looked delicious.

Very good Pub restaurant. Good original features. A good selection of British and continental foods.

Expensive for pub food. My husband and daughter enjoyed their meal. My starter of red lentil and butternut squash soup was nice but the main course of fish fillet with new potatoes and broccoli was very salty and the broccoli looked and tasted as if it had been cooked for a week.

8 of us went here today. Food was okay but not brilliant. Eton Mess dessert was very mediocre - it had very little flavour and was nearly all cream and meringue with very little fruit. Two of our group had trout which they said was disappointing and another had to send their meal back as the potatoes were very overcooked and shrivelled.

Nice ambience and friendly staff. Wasn't busy when we went. The food was OK. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't rush back. The children's meals are good. I gave 4 stars due to the staff and children's meal. If rating on adult meals then it would be 3. I personally would have preferred a larger craft beer offering however this is a personal thing and would be unfair to mark down because of it

Burger bun was cold and pretty tasteless. Staff did send out a new burger. T-bone was done beautifully but wouldn’t pay £25 for it again. Nothing special. Dissatisfied customers won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend it.

Loved it so much that we went back twice in one week. Delicious food - we really enjoyed the grazing plates. Dessert was excellent too. Really nice interior and very friendly, helpful staff. We took our children the second time we visited and they were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended, we will be back soon!
