I had an unpleasant experience with Fu Hao when trying to find a Chinese restaurant nearby.I ordered satay chicken through JustEat and recieved something which looked like black bean chicken instead. It was tasteless and definitely not satay, I believe they made a mistake. We also ordered chow mein, chilli beef and egg fried rice, and all of it was shockingly bland and lacking any exciting chinese flavour. I had to add some soy sauce myself. Was very disappointing ):

The food is always delicious and very quick for collection

Horrible and reheated, chilli beef you couldn't even bite through it, it was that hard. Rice tasted old and reheated possibly the worst takeaway I've had in awhile. Very disappointed there are alot better Chinese takeaways in welwyn. And portion sizes were very small for the price.

Had an issue with food ordered through just eat (cold, oily, chicken like rock, noodles all stuck together, food all round inedible). Spoke to just eat who advised because the order was paid for with cash, id need to contact the restaurant. After being verbally abused on the phone by the restaurant for 55 minutes (who proceeded to tell us how much they hate just eat, all the issues they have as a restaurant and other irrelevant facts) they hung up twice. We contacted just eat yet again regarding the ordeal who proceeded to speak to the restaurant to advise to give a full refund as I had all the food left and offered to have the food ready upon collection in exchange for my refund.2 hours later I went to the restaurant and can only explain what I was met with as utter arrogance. The man who was there was extremely unnecessarily rude, I have the entire thing on record, proceeded to call me a fussy eater, blame ME (the customer) for the issues of “not liking the food” when I had clearly stated the number of issues I had. And finally after being in the restaurant for a further 35 minutes, being spoken down to, patronised and verbally abused yet again. I got £20 back of my £33, because they wouldn’t pay me the £13 because that’s the fee they have to pay to just eat for me ordering through them, which they felt appropriate to penalise me with... avoid like the plague. Terrible customer service doesn’t even explain it and the food not far behind.

Disappointing food and poor service. When my wife asked for a spare bowl and some chopsticks the waitress snapped at her. Later on we commented that the pork tasted a bit off but she was quite dismissive. We found a hair in one of our glasses but by that point we knew what service to expect.I'd suggest going elsewhere and spending a bit more for decent food and service.

Don't order from them via Just Eat. They will cancel your request, even if it meets the criteria, if you don't order more than £25 of food every time. I can understand that for deliveries but not when it's for collection. Better restaurants in WGC will now get my business.

Terrible service really lets this place down. The staff act as if you are a nuisance by ordering their food! One time we ate in and the staff member sat watching a loud TV program on a laptop just a couple of metres from where we were eating. We used to get take away here a lot but stopped because we simply don't feel welcome.Which is a shame because the food was delicious. The crispy fried wantons were amazing. As was the oyster sauce dish and noodles dish.

Horrific customer service! Do not eat here. When I rang to place the order the only person that works there was yelling at me for taking up her time and said I was asking too many questions! She told me to hang up quickly. Then when I went to collect the order I saw her do the same to another customer on the phone. After eating we felt sick because the chicken was undercooked. I rang to tell her this and got yelled at in return. She told me that it was my problem not hers because im not a suitable customer to her style of food. She continued to argue with me. I asked her about her customer service and how it was so bad. She said she has no customer service and doesn't care for my opinion.

Phoned them tonight at 8. Not late in my opinion. The lady was so rude (again) saying she was so busy. I said no problem I'll phone another restaurant and the attitude changed straight away. Strange that. Food is normally very good standard and that's why I normally put up with the poor service. Tonight thought the most pathetic portion of crispy duck turned up. £18, what a joke. Ex customer.

Very good food. Crispy sweet and sour chicken balls and beef in black bean sauce delivered hot and tasty.Down sides - Delivery took an hour(which I was warned about) upon delivery of food I was told that they 'don't really do delivery'. I asked to pay by card - which again I was told they 'don't usually accept' thankfully they did accept my card payment. The chicken in the Thai red curry tasted like fake chicken - the sauce was delicious though!I would order again but would probably pick it up rather than ask for delivery!
