Happy Valley Chinese Takeaway in Welwyn Hatfield

The portion size was unbelievable, far too much food really. (But that’s never a bad thing). The beef in black bean and chill sauce was disappointing. Very bland, neither tasted of chilli nor Black bean. The curry was very nice and the chips were real home made chips.

Ordered for myself and 4 others, very delicious food. Fast service and they threw in a few bits for free! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Great food, great prices and great staff. Always friendly, always happy to help. Been going for nearly 20 years and haven't had a bad meal so far.Highly recommend for great Chinese food and fish and chips. Awesome place

This was my favourite Chinese but it seems now to cut back on quality ? The pork balls are not as big as they was ? Just over priced themselves to other Chinese takeaways in the area ?. I will not be ordering again ?

best chinese food i’ve had in my life! however, i’ve only been here once. amazing portion sizing, amazing packaging, taste was amazing!! price wasn’t the cheapest you can find but definitely worth it for the quality. i will be returning very soon, thank you

Sometimes, their chips are just incredible and the absolute best in the area. However, sometimes if you order from 5pm-6pm they are serving reheated lunch time chips where are disgusting. They are hard, stale and you throw away a £3 portion after 2 chips. It is the same with the curry sauce, after 6pm or at lunch time it tastes lovely but between 5-6 it tastes diluted as if they just added water to make more from what is left. It would be nice if they considered vegans more. Vegan mock duck is 1.60 a can, they could make that as a pancake meal with cucumber, spring onions and pancakes for £7-£8 and make profit.

Delicious food, the best takeaway place around! Sweet and sour chicken, special chaw mein and roasted duck in particular are very nice.The owners are lovely too.Sometimes they add prawn crackers or fortune cookies to orders.

this place don't deserve any stars.food don't have any taste, food is not to hot, food is not fresh.looks like was just boiled with only water. no salt, or paper.NOTHING!!!!I call the take away place they give me the owners phone number.call him and he say he is coming to my work place to "SEE THE FOOD" after I just paid 36.90 pounds for this horrible food.this places that call them self a restaurant or a take away restaurant, I don't know how they can be still open.sometimes I feel ashamed of being a chef because of this "CHEFS, THAT DONT KNOW HOW TO COOK."
