Lovely atmosphere for Sunday lunch. Abbie was thoughtful, friendly and efficient without being in your face. Order taken, didn't wait long for well presented tasty food. Thumbs up Abbie. Will certainly visit again.

Bad service as the guy rolled his eyes when i asked i would like a chicken and mushroom pie as the food was poorly limited.I have never known a pub to just serve only sunday roasts on a sunday I like to have the option of chosing a varitey of.food. Nobody asked us how the meal went then we had to get their attention to clear the table and get the dessert menu. They seemed in no rush and was all standing behind the bar while we had to get up.to pay for the bill rather than being asked.if we.would like the bill. I take it they dont like 1 star reviews but sometimes you may not always give out the best service. Sorry but please dont threaten a paying customer when they give a bad review online!!!

Love this place. It's still got all the character of how pubs used to be (not all white -washed and characterless!). The food and service is always very good and prompt, and there is a lovely terrace which, although by the road, is raised high up so the traffic is not intrusive.

Absolutely fab evening with friends! Such friendly staff who made us feel really welcome, lovely food and great value for money.Look forward to many more visits.... and trying the veggie options on your new menu!

Just had another super lunch at this very friendly pub. The hosts are exceptional and the atmosphere is spot on. The new ale Harlequin was pretty good too. Apparently a refurbishment is on the cards so I hope they manage to retain the charm that makes it so special.

Lunch today 1st class service and very friendly. All our food from starters mains,dessert & coffee was very well presented & piping hot. Couldn't find anything to complain about. Well done to you all. We'll be back for sure. Thank you 😊

Booked a large family roast for 11 on Sunday.We were warmly greeted by the staff who were all exceptionally friendly, helpful and attentive, especially Hannah.The meals were delicious and not forgetting the best beer in the land, Mac's AK!!Thank you all at LASA for a fantastic experience.

Lovely pub where my Sister and I met for a long lunch, the staff are uber friendly and welcoming, and the food is great. The photo is of toad in the hole & seafood platter, both very hearty and tasty. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend, nice staff and lovely food, even better that they have a good selection of main meals on the two for one menu. Service was quick too. We will be back I'm sure 👍 (the nachos as a starter were amazing!)
