Sun Inn in Welwyn Hatfield

What a great pub to stop in at during our tour of the English countryside. Fiona and Izzy are fantastic hosts. So polite and caring. Always taking time to make genuine conversation. The lunch selections are great and the quality of the food was wonderful. A wide selection of lagers, ales, wines, and spirits. The setting is very nice as there are options of being in the bar, a dining room, outdoor beer garden, or picnic tables up front to take in the sun. Can't wait to come back and visit!

The ribs were by far the best I have ever had! So chunky and juicy! Definitely going back for more!

Great outdoors seating, good food and friendly staff

It's a lovely place even on a rainy day, The location is very pretty. The food and service was nice, not busy on a Sunday afternoon on a match day

Visited May2022. Drinkies and starters only, at end of long walk. Superb coffee and well-cooked food, nicely presented. Place was packed, full car park. All good signs.

Went to the sun Inn for the first time today with my son and daughter in law , the food and service was superb . I only live a short drive away so will obviously be using this pub more often . There was no room for improvement, thankyou 😁😁

Helpful staff and a good selection of drinks. Pub quiz going on when we arrived but that was not what we were looking for and the staff found us a reasonably quiet corner. Which was kind and helpful of them.

Lovely pub but we unfortunately picked a busy football night with chanting, we ordered a steak meal and it wasn't cooked as requested. We sent it back but it still didnt come right. The other meal had a burnt giant yorkshire pud and chewy venison.They probably were focusing more on beer sales that night as it was busy. The landlord/head barman was good hut we got the wrong night unfortunately.

Great afternoon out. Brewery tour was very interesting, and a few beers in the Taproom afterwards rounded ut off nicely.

Great food and drink, especially the cocktails. Staff very helpful and friendly.
