We had great food but dined alone

Very nice menu and could not do enough to make us feel welcome and prepare the dishes to our needs. Great service and the best poppadoms for miles around.

Collected takeaway. They sent text when ready - only 20mins after original booked time. Quick service on arrival, though they threw in sauces of the same type at the last minute instead of 2 of different types. Food was v good. Observed just a small restaurant with one table right by the door which would be annoying with takeaway collectors coming and going.

Had a chicken Vindaloo, it was absolutely fantastic, just about blew my head off but lots of flavour. Staff were absolutely lovely. Be careful, it's bring your own booze! They've plenty of glasses though.

I get the lamb chilli tawa every time, I like to try new things every so often and ever since I gave this a go I haven't dared not order it! Lovely food one of the best Indians in welwyn Hatfield if not the best.

First time having Taj Mahal, my only fault is that the vindaloo was not very spicy, which is obviously half the reason of getting it. But still 5 stars because the food still tasted really nice and delivery was quick 👍

The worst Indian food I order! The lamb was not eatable at all and the sos was horrible and lots of money as well? The fish ? Where? Not even one piece? And the vegetables samosas were way to spicy?Deffff a bad experience and lots of money! Not reccomend it!.....please check I ordered on uber eat?

Regularly ordering home delivery and the food is always completely delicious. Having been a lover of Indian food throughout the several cities I've lived in within the UK, I can say without doubt, Taj Mahal is top quality.
