In all my years of takeaways that has to be the worst Chinese I have ever had! Right down to the prawn crackers and curry sauce awful! What waste of £30 we usually hate to throw food away but all 5 dishes have gone in the bin.

Have now ordered from here four times each has been excellent good quality and friendly staff. Best Chinese food in welwyn by far.

·

It was cold and expensive only got 3 ribs which two were mostly bone. So rather expensive at nearly £2 a rib and they were cold so the sauce was like jam wont be returning

·

Food was super fresh and the place was clean. Whole family enjoyed the food, I reckon its the best chinese in the area.😝

I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this fine place. Well we passed a fabulous evening and the place was absolutely the reason for the fruitful celebration. The team cooperated in a lovely manner, the food was very good and my guests were extremely delighted. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.

This is the best Chinese takeaway around here, by a long shot. Food is always fresh, never to much salt and always tastes lovely. Some of the negative reviews here seem 'manufactured' to me, they like to mention a rival as better but that rival got taken to court a couple of years ago for very poor hygiene standards. To the reviewer who didn't like the chips from Great Wall...they do not, and have never done chips.

I never write reviews! However I was so disappointed with this. Duck and plumb sauce was so saulty we couldn’t even eat it. Chips tasted like they’d been left for a month before serving. Chicken balls were so dry, and the prawn crackers tasted like fairy liquid. Overall just really disappointed and won’t be returning, will be using hoy che in knightsfield in future.

Bought food here for the first time a few days ago, and I'll definitely be going back. The large "Four Wander" Cantonese Style and a single Special Fried Rice was enough food for two. The Sweet Corn and Chicken Soup was delicious, and my wife has said that next time she's sick, that's what she'll be demanding.

We usually use them during the week and found them good. However last night(Friday) we had one from them. The chicken balls were terrible. Dry chicken far too much batter and stale! The rice was okay. The noodles were dry tasteless and with 4 king prawn! The chicken in black bean sauce was inedible. And the crispy chilli beef was more like crispy chilli carrot! Disgusted. Unfortunately we will not be using them again as a short drive away there is a Chinese that is consistent. Oh and we waited 45 minutes for them to give us a terrible £25 worth of slop. Shame as they have been good. Never again though. Do yourself a favour. Go elsewhere.

Worst Chinese takeaway I have ever experienced. Ribs were dry and crumbly, almost like biscuits, I'd go as far to say that cat or dog biscuits would have been nicer. Some sauce and bits of onion chucked on top. Noodles were full of msg/salt. Bits of chicken had been tenderised and again the sauce was just full of salt. Called them back to let them know, response was that maybe I just wasn't used to their style of cooking....too right I wasn't. Wouldn't have written this review had they taken my feedback normally and possibly offered some sort of discount or something to entice me back (I would still have been reluctant)... Avoid at all costs if you want anything near traditional Chinese cooking... Maybe this was a one off, but from my call back it seemed like they didn't care.
