A really nice restaurant, tastefully decorated. Great food, great staff, good price! What more can you ask for.

Food was a bit sweet for my liking. Onion bharjees was burnt to a crisp. Staff were notReally bothered. Never mind I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

Arrived early (6pm) and restaurant nearly empty. Attentive service from the outset without being intrusive. Place quickly started to fill up, but we never felt cramped. Clearly a sign of the popularity of the restaurant given it was a week night! We were afforded plenty of time to chat and enjoy the poppodums before ordering our food. Decent menu selection and both the starters and mains arrived in good time, well spaced between the courses. Food was first-class. Fresh, hot, well prepared and cooked. Decent sized portions. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and would recommend.

Disappointing. I ordered a takeaway last night and was initially impressed with the ease of ordering and the relatively quick delivery. The delivery person was also very polite. However, the food turned out to be a total let down as it was almost stone cold on arrival. I ended up having to reheat it which unfortunately affected the taste and ultimate quality. Not really what you expect for nearly £17.00. The 2 free poppadoms didn't make up for it either! I doubt I will order from here again, which is a shame.

Firstly it's not authentic Indian restaurant. It's Bangladeshi restaurant. There is a huge difference in taste between the two. Bangladeshi food is more on sweet note. Even after we requested for our food to be hot (Spicy) it was still sweet. Sorry but food was not up to the standard and it was not just one dish. Everything we ordered was sweet. Service was good and staff were friendly.

This was the second time I'd visited in two weeks! After eating here with a friend the food was so good I brought my partner along the second time and we weren't disappointed! The food (which arrived quickly) was delicious and full of flavour; the chicken in my jalfrezi was so tender it just fell apart as you cut it and was spicy but didn't leave me a sweaty mess! My partner also enjoyed her meal and told me she's going to bring her friends here when they come to visit. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Indian restaurant with lots of dishes to choose from. Whether you want something hot and spicy or something mild, there is something tasty for everyone here. The place a beautiful interior design and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend. ^_^

Update.the down hill journey seems to have arrived at the bottomWell this must be the worst curry I’ve ever had, one main dish missing, the other main was more like a fin soup then a curry, lamb starter was poor with the lamb turning to mush in your mouth.Won’t be ordering again from here until it sorts it self out.Poor show guys! This place would defiantly have got 4 stars pushing 5 if not for a few rude members of staff. The food is very nice and very reasonably priced. Bit cosy inside but not bad. I wouldn’t like to be sat down stairs and certainly not by the door, has the door is constantly opening from people collecting take away and then the people coming to eat sometimes have to stand and wait.Always get my Indian food here. I have had better and there is better in hatfield. Last few times I have had take away and they have got the order wrong and I was made to feel it was my fault and the member of staff was very rude, this has only happened the once so all in all a good service and good food.Update.Again member of staff very rude on phone.Update.This place now has a new manager or at least the old manager has left to manage a new restaurant they have opened. On my last two visits the service has been very poor. Last time was on arriving was asked to come back in 30min. Also the food seems to be going downhill.

The restaurant has a welcoming environment and great customer service. It is quite popular locally and busy so it will be a good idea to make a prior booking. The food is good and tasty although the taste palate differs compared to the Indian food that you find in North London Indian restaurants. The portions are not big. There can be improvements in the contents, so the paneer dish we ordered had only four cubes of paneer, which is not great, but then again, this should only be considered a minor observation, as the cleanliness of the food, speed and excellent service as well as the taste itself compensate, more than adequately. The vegetables and salads are fresh. The premises serves alcohol and there is plenty of parking available in the town centre. If you are in WGC and looking for good Indian food, then this is the place to go to. Recommended.
