Me and my husband took his mother for dinner this lunchtime. Her mobility isn’t great but was nice to know she could enter by the emergency exit nearest the car park.Staff were more than hospitable and nothing was to much trouble.Food was amazing. Plenty of choice, servings generous, and extremely tasty.Sorry can’t rate the value as hubby paid, but he did so easily so he must have been well happy.Definitely will eat there again. To all the staff - thank you for everything.X

Fantastic! This describes the experience, service, food and staff. Booked for 75th surprise birthday party for my father. Staff were very polite, professional and accommodating to all requests. The food was served quickly and very tasty. Amazingly the price was so much lower than expected for this 5 star service.

Went on Sunday for My Mums 86th birthday with family. The food was almost as good as the staff. We go often and for good reason and they never let us down. Thanks for making my Mums birthday so special guys. See you soon

We had a family meal here today and chose this pub/restaurant for the gluten free menu. After returning home it is very clear that my wife was served gluten food! We were disappointed with the very slow service and the cold food that was sent to our table, the staff were nice, just couldn't seem to cope. We will never use this pub again, very unhappy.

Fantastic service!! Also really enjoyed the food..felt really welcome 😊

Can't argue with the staff, really nice guy invited me and a few mates in with a warm welcome.Service was good, prices were a bit steep for alcohol but a nice outdoor seating area with plenty of space to park the car.Had the fish and chips which was OK, just far far too much batter and not a lot of fish. A few of us had the same issue so it can't of been a 1 off.If I return I think I'll try something different.

Had a lovely afternoon at The North Star. Great service from Ollie & Emma. Pub was very clean and had a nice relaxed atmosphere, would recommend.

A friendly and well organised pub/restaurant that offers a good basic menu. We really enjoyed our family's meals.Currently participating in the government "eat out to help out" scheme. Well organised regarding social distancing but the "track and trace" is via an app accessed through scanning a QR code on a table just outside the entrance which many people may miss. Better to ask for a name and telephone number as other pubs and restaurants are doing?

We rang ahead, it was past 9pm we were running late, the friendly girl who spoke to us said we could eat if we arrived before 9.30pm. We quickly ordered fish, I went for pan fried cod my wife wanted white bait. Both were excellent especially my cod I was surprised by how good it was and was seriously good value. The Stonebarn Shiraz was reasonably priced at just over £20 a bottle. All of the staff were helpful and friendly, a welcoming team I’d recommend to anyone.
