The Real China in Welwyn Hatfield

Food was dried out looked like it had been sitting there for a very long time and was mostly cold, desserts consisted of sweets fruit and dried out cake, were told we can’t get anymore food 50 mins before they closed as the restaurant staff were celebrating Chinese New Year and needed to eat their own dinner in the middle of the restaurant, really poor not worth spending money here.

Decent food for the price. I was in for buffet on lunch time. Drinks not included on rate, but seems that they have bottomless fizzy drink as adition. I just got water today.

Must confess a great improvement on the last time I visited Real China.The food availability, quality, selection and quantity was greatly improved.Sadly the teriyaki was still not available & the sweet selection was limited.Question slightly the value for money one receives compared to other buffet restaurant options nearby.But overall a good eating experience with clean decor, etc, & friendly helpful staff.

The lunch buffet is brilliant, your taste buds won't be disappointed!

Weekday lunch buffet. Price matches the food quality to be frank. Chicken curry was good. Food was generally not hot initially but the staff eventually fired up their stoves and kept things hot. Pork was chewy, same went for the ribs.Rice and noodle dishes were decent.Sweet and sour chicken tasted average.Desserts were limited to just ice creams. However the staff were very friendly and helpful, they are the reason this place gets 3 stars honestly.Perhaps the dinner buffet might be better value for money.Btw, if any of you happen to heat up one of those instant meals from the microwave, do try to relate some of the starters to this place, it definitely was lacking in my opinion.Overall, food was edible and service was excellent. So I guess it's worth a visit atleast.

Buffet was ok! As I was expecting it. (average) The curry and rice was good! However few others had an artificial taste. All I can say it isn't the worse or the best :) I enjoyed the experience.

Food was barely warm and half of the dishes were empty or missingThe selection on offer was not great. It used to be really good here but just seems now they are cutting corners on everything and it shows. If you desperate for a Chinese buffet then go but if you want top quality then this is not the place for you. It was busy so maybe on quieter times it will be better.

Food looks great doesn't it ? .. Well you would be shocked! Tasted dreadful. I have never tasted sweet and sour like this! Horrendous flavour. The curry tasted microwaved or canned.My friend got the muscles and fish along with duck and a good few hours later at night time he was sick and had diarrhoea.To my suprise whilst going to the toilet they had a delivery from Iceland 🤣 which explains why everything tasted frozen cooked and no taste.It's currently 6am and my stomach is upset.I would NEVER go back and eat here again. I wish who ever does the best of luck.Honest review.

We wanted a Chinese food but we were so disappointed. We did not even bother to complain as we will never go again ！My sister had the spicy fish and it was ways to salty and the fish was not fresh.My son and I had the buffet and it was terrible as lack selection and the taste was bad.

First time visiting Real China Restaurant, had a lovely experience, food is very tasty and fresh but not too many varieties for buffet. Amazing customer service.
