The Steamer in Welwyn Hatfield

Great Thai place authentic food. Very busy place and the owners are wonderfull very attentive and helpful. Could do with more help on the floor and bar otherwise cannot fault. The soup was just warm usually this is very hot and warming. Overall I would return and eat here again check it out if in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Steamer last night. Food was authentic and super tasty. Owners were very friendly too. Will definitely be back!

I have just gotten back from an evening at The Steamer Pub & Thai Kitchen. We recently moved to the area and have been aiming to try out all the different pubs and restaurants in Welwyn. We received a flyer in the post for this and decided to go. I am soooo glad that we did because we have had an absolutely perfect night! Andy and his wife (sorry that I didn’t catch your name!) made us feel very welcome. The service was attentive and efficient and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The pub was spacious and had a lovely atmosphere to it. Great selection of beers and we both enjoyed a cocktail each after our dinner. The food served here is absolutely amazing!! Generous portion sizes at a good price and it tasted so good! You could tell that the ingredients were so fresh and that it was authentic Thai food. We will definitely be returning and would thoroughly recommend The Steamer!

I have just moved to Welwyn and decided to try the Steamer pub for a night out.I wasn't disappointed, the Thai food was absolutely delicious, also the staff were really polite and friendly.The atmosphere was very welcoming, tables not too close together ,nice and spacious.It was clean and fresh inside. The prices are very reasonable.Anyway I know they haven't been open very long but I thoroughly recommend it.I'm going to try the takeaway option next week.

Absolutely lovely food, beautifully presented.

We had an amazing evening last night celebrating a friend’s 50th. The food was out of this world, the best I have ever tasted. The owners are lovely, so welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Ordered from here and it seemed nice but the Pad Thai (my barometer of Thai food) seemed much greasier than normal and courgette in the curry wasn't expected or liked by my co-diners. Also £3 for prawn crackers is a surprise as they're normally complimentary at most take aways.

We discovered this restaurant last night. OMG what delicious food! Very friendly owner and wife who run it; nice atmosphere; reasonable prices and a lovely menu that is seriously user-friendly. The food I chose was exactly as described and was a delight to eat. Great new asset to the Welwyn community and I wish this new business the success it deserves.

Having just moved to Welwyn last night was the first time we had been in the Steamer . We were made to feel very welcome and after asking for recommendations from the menu tried a couple of dishes we'd not had before. We were not disappointed the food was absolutely delicious with great service to match. Will definitely be going back soon.

Thai die for! OMG the new Thai restaurant here is amazing. So fresh, such flavours, such heat. If you haven't been, book a table and go for it. Easily on par with the best London had to offer. Simply amazing!
