Nice building but that's about it. Live local and was hoping this could be my local instead of going into central London. Drinks are way over priced the waiting time on food is ridiculous. I heard the kitchen is way to small to cope with a packed restaurant but obviously because of money the manager is more than willing to fill up the place and everyone is fobbed offWe waited over an hour for four starters and were told they had last minute bookings. When the food did arrive I couldn't believe how bland it all was. Will never go again.

JUDGES NORTHAW , We went with friends on NYE for a meal.Decor is very nice, we had all pre ordered and i called earlier in the evening to confirm what time the meal would be served, i was told it would be 8pm. We were all seated but didnt get served our starters until 2 hours later. food was very tasty (what there was of it ! )but extremly small portions. £80 a head, may i state.Service was terrible, i was twice given a very hot plate handed across the table to me, and the waiter didnt mention it was hot , owch !!Waiters are very in experienced, and for the prices i find that very disappointing .The singer had started and finished by the time we had just been served our mains, so we didnt get to enjoy ,as she was in the back room.There was no build up towards 12 oclock and it was definately very flat . All in all a very disapointing NYE .We wont be returning .

Nice food but nothing special. Nice decor. Very slow service.

I've had a few meals here over the years and it has gotten progressively worse. The menu is appealing, but I have often found the execution to be lacking.

Wonderful atmosphere! Great food and dog friendly.........love the open fires in the winter.

Nice vintage country pub and atmosphere. The quality of the food was exceptional. Everything is fresh and well presented. Very welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

Good, tasty English food, very copious portions. OK service. Dirty toilets, plenty of free parking.

Love it great food and great people

Went here for a meal with friends on a Tuesday evening. Service was reasonable, food was on the whole quite good.However unless you are a dog lover to the extent of loving someone else's dog jumping up your table while you eat don't bother.We complained to the owners who barely took any notice (3 of them) then we complained to the staff who told us "We are a dog friendly pub"If they want to charge restaurant prices they should adopt restaurant policies.We will not be going back to have Fido try and eat our meals.
