The White Hart Hotel in Welwyn Hatfield

Loved our stay from the moment we walked in till the moment we left! We will be back! Special shout out to Adam, Freddie and Mia who made our stay extra special!

Absolutely fantastic little hotel. We had booked to go away to another hotel for a few nights to a hotel with a jacuzzi in the room but they cancelled on us the day before. So we found this little place and as luck would have it they had a boutique room available. The room was beautiful and the jucuzzi bath was so comfortable for my back. The staff bend over backwards for you, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was so comfortable and we felt very at home there. We'll definitely come back.

The White Hart hosted my daughter’s 18th in a private room we had booked. From arrival to departure we were looked after brilliantly. The main bar itself is first class and the private room was dressed and presented very well. The food was great with some outstanding dishes. Certainly far better than some alternative options locally. The most important point I’d like to make though was the attitude of the staff. Adam served us and was not just polite and friendly but attentive. We never had to wait for anything and the balance struck between serving us and allowing us to enjoy ourselves was perfect. Dietary requirements weren’t an issue for the chef and all of the above went a long way to making our night very special. Thanks to the whole team! Would recommend unreservedly.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel last night. We have stayed before about 4/5 years ago. Brilliant room, superb breakfast, staff that will go back and beyond to make your stay fabulous!Overall great hotel, will be back for sure!Thank you!!

Great experience. Flawless service and delicious food. The 'Ye Oldie Inn' setting was authentic, providing a comforting rustic backdrop. What's not to love?

We love this place. We 1st stayed here almost 10 years ago. They offer a selection of room types, would highly recommend the Boutique rooms. Staff go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxed as possible. Good selection of drinks and cocktails available at the bar and the restaurant is excellent. Truly terrific food, gorgeous atmosphere and very friendly staff. Originally knew of this place due to the sister pub of The Tilbury. Was equally pleased, and will definitely be coming back. Brilliant and scrumptious! Thanks again :-).

Went for Sunday lunch, staff friendly and attentive. My wife had the goats cheese starter and loved it. I had the peppers with crab and prawn, sadly although the peppers were lovely there seemed very little crab or prawn so in my view expensive for what it was. The roast beef and roast chicken dinners though were absolutely excellent the best I can remember having out. Sort the starter for 5 stars.
