I have been ordering food from Turan for many years. I think it’s the most authentic Indian food in the Welwyn Hatfield area. I mentioned when ordering today that 1 item wasn’t up to its usual standard last time. I received the most tastiest delicious food and I can’t recommend them enough. Keep up the great work everyone! A lovely lady took my order too which I really appreciated.

We can get very authentic and real tasty Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Service is very good. Personnel here can speak Hindi.

I have been coming here for years, so I'm a regular, the owner and staff are always delightful! Mine and my mums favourite restaurant by far, in-fact we don't go anywhere else to get Indian food.It's a few towns away from us but worth the journey to go and collect the food! Keep up the good work!

I normally find the food OK here but I just had vegetable biryani delivered and there was a plum seed in it, which I accidentally bit into. I looked around and tasted the biryani further, there was nothing sweet in it at all. So how did this get in here I cannot imagine. I called the restaurant to enquirer the ingredients of the dish and asked about the plum seed, to which they said it was nutmeg!! I think most people would know the difference between a nutmeg and a plum seed!!! Was the chef eating a plum and threw the seed in the dish instead of the bin?! Restaurant was also rude dealing with the complaint as I heard some mans laughter in the back. Disgusting. Revolting. Nasty service!

One of the best Indian restaurant i ever visited.

I was there for dine in. The food tasted bland and felt like the biryani was just warmed up. Didn't feel the taste as it was described in the menu. And the service was not good at all. No one really cared.

The experience of visiting Bar Turan was amazing. The food was very very delicious 😋😋😋😋 The staff was also good.

I love a good curry and believe me this place served us one of the best we have had in a long time and we go to all the best curry restaurant s in LEEDS and Bradford. Authentic taste cooked by Indians who know how it should taste, the service was great and the price with drinks for 3 of us was £50, a must if you're in the area. I visited this place again 8 months after my last visit and I was left wishing I didn't live 200 miles away, the staff were charming and helpful with choice and the food was delicious truly mouthwatering. I wasn't that hungry but it was impossible to leave any. 5 stars all day long.
