Ordered 2x family mixed platter. Food was nice as expected for a turkish grill mix platter familly sharer. The portions were small and felt over priced when you get the same size for half the price at other establishment.Watch out for the service charge £30. I would expect personal service if i Pay for that. Nothing special.Overall OK but not worth the money.

Was here last night for my daughters 16th. Cannot thank management and staff enough for their fantastic service. There were a lot of us but the waiter was always patient and pleasant at all times. Food was amazing as always. Left the restaurant feeling extremely pleased. Had a fabulous night thanks to The Turkish Kitchen. Already looking forward to going back again

Hi, six of us have just had my birthday lunch as a family. The staff were very welcoming, seated us in a prime position. Food was excellent both in choice, presentation and taste. My daughter brought a cake which the staff served along with a chorus of the customery birthday song. My daughter said she thought it might even be better than our local Turkish restaurant. Can't wait to go back, please.

Very disappointed. We were their regular customers and off late, they have changed the menu and chefs it seems. The menu is not clear anymore, the staff is always busy even though if there are no customers and found rude most of the time. They now offer grilled veg in the name of vegetarian kebab which is expensive. Highly overrated and expensive with below-average service. To respond to your reply, this review is just not what happened on our last visit, we had been having a more or less similar experience on our last few visits as well where communication was not clear, we were told falafel won't be served with rice and we ended up ordering extra Food but when served, it was served with rice, as a result, lots of extra food, which does not come free right? when asked we were told it's up to your chef it seems, what would you say about it???Yeah I take your point we HAD been a regular customer and did not post any reviews but please note, that we also did not post any reviews when we found hair in our food.Hope this explains.Coming to my partner finishing the food. What would you do when you are hungry and ordered food? Would you leave it?Hope you saw the kid's leftover food as well???Also, this review is to let you know our genuine feedback and now it's up to you to take it or throw it in a bin. one thing is clear we are never going to visit you. Thanks!!!

It was our first visit to the restaurant. We had been looking for a nice Turkish restaurant for a while and this came up today. The place has a very nice ambience and seating is very comfortable. Menu options are quite varied, so are the drinks! I would have liked more mocktail options as we don’t drink. Now, the service was hit and miss. We got our drinks and starters very quickly and the mains came after a long wait. The restaurant was not busy at all, only 4 tables including us but still took some time. I was going to give 4 *s but thinking about the overall experience, it can have 5! Prices were towards the upper end (London prices in Hertfordshire) but the portion size was very generous. We have lamb beyti, Turko burger and mixed Adana, which were all tasteful and plentiful! However, due to the price we might only use it for special occasions only!

Really nice food and very good service. The place has very nice seating. There’s an area to have brunch, but it’s a bit separate from the rest.I tried the lamb casserole and it was delicious. I also like that they bring you a spicy sauce separately, because I don’t like my food very spicy. The pita bread that came with the hummus was delicious. It was warm and it had a somewhat sweet smell. The only problem is that we got almost full with the pitta bread and the hummus and we couldn’t finish our mains. But they gave us a takeaway box, so no food was wasted 😃

Starters were good.We asked 3 times for a glass.2 portion of chips never arrived.Mains (meat) were uncooked, we left without clearing the plates and we are not picky with food but this was beyond horrible. The rice was like from ready made bag heated in microwave.Smoke from the grill everywhere. There was wind coming from the windows. At the end, we paid removing the huge service charge and stopped outside to have a cigarette, someone from the staff run outside claiming that money were missing. We had to do the math for them and show that nothing was missing, they have apologized.Portion are small, nowhere adeguate for the price they ask. The chicken in picture is 15£.A terrible end for horrible night. We will not comeback.

Jimmy’s Brunch located inside Turkish kitchen is amazing! Delicious coffees and smoothies, with wide variety of options and something for everyone and very well priced! Definitely would return again, the owner was also extremely nice!

This is really nice Turkish food. My personal preference is to go for a sharing platter, and if you have any food left you can pack it to go.In my most recent visit I had the chicken platter which had so much flavour in all their items. It is a healthy option and is not dry at all. I would definitely recommend and come back for more of this.As standard you get their basket of fresh warm bread and their chilli and sour cream sauce which are so addictive.Although there as no mocktails to choose from there is the option to mix the juice drinks, and there are plenty soft drink options. The staff were very attentive and accommodating throughout the evening, and the restaurant is well decorated. Making the experience that much more enjoyable.Parking is available outside as this is a food and supermarket retail park. The 1st hour is free, 1-2 hour parking is £2.50. Be aware you need to enter your reg and pay with coins. 2 hours is enough time to comfortably eat and enjoy the meal at the restaurant.I hope you found this review helpful 🙂
