Alanda's Gelateria in East Lothian

Lovely place. Friendly staff. Top class ice cream. Tried the rum&rasin + belgium milk chocolate double scoop and a biscoff flavoured hot chocolate. Lovely taste and flavour.

I wasn't allowed to try any ice cream as apparently we can't remove our mask for a split second, despite the fact the girls serving didn't wear one. I ordered "fresh" strawberry and peanut butter but was utterly disappointed. "Fresh" strawberry was more like chemically flavoured strawberry and could hardly taste any nut flavour on the peanutbutter. For £4.50 I would expect better, never going back.

Had salted caramel and white chocolate pretzel gelato in a waffle cone at Alandas in North Berwick. Both my son and I enjoyed the gelato and would definitely go back.Staff were friendly and helpful regarding allergies. All gelatos may contain traces of nuts so if in doubt ask.

The most amazing ice creams just love every flavour i have had. Its our favourite stop off on our day off....will miss this when move back home....a few more trips left though to get tempted. Love all the flavours....

I got a lemon & pink grapefruit sorbet with passionfruit swirl! Delicious 😍 Really refreshing after a long walk on the beach!

Good ice cream in central location. We’ve tried strawberry, salted caramel - both good - Ferrero Rocher and Kinder Bueno - nothing special. We were expecting a bit more for the price.

Delicious gelato! The queue moved extremely quickly due to lots of friendly staff keeping things moving. Just the right amount of flavour options too - not so many so as to overwhelm you!

Lovely ice cream, probably some of the best you're going to get in Scotland. Amazing selection as well, their cherry was unbelievable. Queue was socially distanced with ice cream offered as takeaway service only by ordering and collecting at the entrance. Definitely recommend a visit if you're in North Berwick.

I had vanilla (tasteless) and cherry (good). The texture of both was very average, not creamy enough. Considering the price, I was expecting better quality. They claim to have won multiple awards but frankly I don't know who awarded them and for what exactly. At least the service was very prompt, although that is because they put out a sign with available flavours, asking to decide on exact order before coming inside, which I don't think is a great idea when it comes to ice cream, because I often want to see which flavours look the most appealing. I personally really need the visual to make a choice I won't regret later. I understand that it's because of Covid, plus it's natural that they want to sell as much as possible to make the most profit, but it still seems weird to me not to give your customers at least 1 minute inside to make their final choice.
