Buttercup Cafe in East Lothian

The best vegan breakfast I have ever had! Amazing choices with a nice balance of veg and treats on the plate, and perfectly portioned.Along with the vegan full breakfast? Buttercup Cafe offers a huge variety of vegan choices.A really welcoming atmosphere with the most delightful staff and just all round spectacular indie spot!

Great service, Nice small café dog friendly as well but unfortunately food was not great, The soup was very nice but unfortunately the bread tasted old and a bit dry. Use fresh bread and it would have been great.

Excellent breakfast place. We go there regularly.

Went here for lunch and was a lovely lunch until I got home and realised that my gluten free toastie was unfortunately not gluten free and was physically sick and feel ill.Just a warning to people who may be allergic to wheat/gluten/barley ( Coeliacs ) to make sure theirs is gluten free.

Went into the cafe at lunchtime for a sandwich£4.95 ( packet cheese slice with very little grated cheese and a small piece of onion) bread was not so fresh .Very overpriced for a small sandwichDefinitely will not be back .

We called in here for bacon rolls prior to a beach walk to Aberlady. The rolls were excellent well filled with tasty bacon cooked just right. Service was friendly and the rolls were swiftly served. We have used other takeaways nearby and this was just as good if not better and we didn't have to wait!

Lovely little place for a bite to eat. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Clean interior, covid aware and prompt service. Pet friendly which was beneficial for me.

Really cute little cafe which we chose as the queue was short despite the day being hot and the rest of the town busy. Lovely food. I had the roasted Italian veggie baguette which was creamy and flavoursome! Great sized iced coffee too. Staff were pleasant.

A nice little cafe that serves soup, sandwiches, toasties, paninis and variety of other savoury items. They have a good selection of cakes as well as scones with cream/butter and jam. The coffee is nice or you may wish to have tea or a cold drink. Milk shakes are also available.
