Central Cafe in East Lothian

The fish was very small for a medium. Very slow service I stood waiting for a person to ask what I wanted for around 5 minutes, no other customers in the chip shop.Fish was poor quality and very small portions for the price. I would not recommend

Really friendly, attentive staff - can't comment on the fish and chips but they do a mean brew and great homemade scones - definitely cheered us up on a soggy Monday afternoon

Just had some macaroni cheese bites from here and they are phenomenal, I even ate all the salad that came with it, good selection for a chippy but the specials are always worth a try for something different, the haggis bites are also banging if they take your fancy.

Rubbish food and so expensive it’s embarrassing, ordered a large chips and got 18 chips, I had to count as portion was the smallest I’ve ever had!!! The owner is a little scrawny guy who clearly thinks he’s the man! Would recommend to avoid this place

Nice, however £4.90 for half a box of chips is a bit much.

Excellent Macaroni Toastie and Chips, Excellent Bacon Roll, Latte's also excellent, All covid rules were in place at time of visit.

Ate in here twice while I was staying In Dunbar for work. Food was fantastic, service was excellent. Had fish and chips the first evening and chicken kiev and chips the second. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Simply superb! Fantastic fish tea, perfectly battered beautiful fillet of fish (& chips) with tea, bread and butter, and mushy peas, absolutely hit the spot. Excellent service with a smile, nothing too much trouble, all at unbeatable prices. Top for value, service and eating experience, thank you! 😁
