Cucina Amore in East Lothian

Ate here for my partners birthday on 7/2/22. The food and service was amazing from start to finish. The item I wanted was no longer on the menu but they accommodated me anyway. All the food was delicious and piping hot and stayed warm as the plates were good and warm too which in my view makes a lot of difference. The desserts were home made and lovely. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming and a very comfortable space to eat in. Haven't enjoyed a meal so much in a long time and thats not because we haven't eaten well. We both used to cook for a living. Will hopefully return again soon from the central belt.

Unfortunately my meal was swimming in oil, which was the biggest flavour on the plate. It didn't look good & tasted not much better. I have to say my wife enjoyed her meal so only half as bad as it could have been.

So welcoming, friendly, helped out with choices for our child as shes very fussy. Food was outstanding wine was a delight. We will be back very soon. Loved it.

Amazing food served with love and care. Best pizza and pasta ever. The family friendly atmosphere is so special. Highly recommend!

Ate here on 21/22 New Year. I have to say it was absolutely delicious, on fact faultless. Prawns, Aubergine for starters Venison and Veal for mains. All was cooked to perfection and felt like a real treat before heading off to a friend's party. Just the job, I will definitely be returning.

We were here for dinner on Friday night. We had booked, although were surprised to find it quite quiet. Despite this we were seated at the table between the kitchen door and a toilet and opposite the staff area at the bar. It was probably the worst table in the place. The welcome wasn’t the friendliest to be honest, so we weren’t filled with optimism.However, the food was excellent. We were advised of the specials board and we both chose from there. Venison tagliatelle, and a delicious pumpkin ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce. We shared a rosemary focaccia and a tomato and red onion salad. Everything was delicious, after an iffy start, I was very impressed.I’d probably return if I was in the area as the food was worth it, despite the table and the lukewarm service.

Lovely meal at lunchtime. Very nice and welcoming host. Just a shame that on that wet and windy day there were no other diners. Will definitely be back.

First visit to North Berwick and Cucina Amore. We went in early evening today for a quick dinner with our 2 year old boy. We were hoping to have a decent, if quick, dinner, that he would let us without melting down.From the minute we went in, the staff were great. They arranged a high chair quickly, were helpful getting us settled and took a quick order of pasta for our son which arrived less than 5 mins later. This meant we could enjoy our dinner a bit more as he'd been mostly fed.Our food was great, the staff were wonderful, couldn't do enough for us and the restaurant was perfectly laid out and decorated.I would highly recommend a visit here. We will most definitely be back when we return to North Berwick. Well done Cucina Amore, a very comfortable 5 stars out of 5! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Highly recommended 🌠for an amazing homemade kitchen and reasonable prices! One of a very few that serves really amazing and Italian food! I am a fan of Italian cuisine and I have tried many of them in Edinburgh and around, this is the Winner! 🌠 Everything was freshly prepared and my friend enjoyed homemade tiramisu. Good atmosphere and music choice too. Plenty of space to bring your kids too. All the best for more happy customers! We will be definitely back!

Aside from 10 minute wait for ordering drinks at the beginning, given full attention from what seemed to be the two owners. Friendly, polite and a high level of customer service.Flavoursome main dish with attention to detail on side components. Exceeded expectations, would recommend!
