During our visit I found the owner and staff were extremely accommodating and had gone out their way during a busy period to provide my friends and I a lovely breakfast and coffee's. The views are unbeatable and my coffee was great. My friends plan to visit again before they head back to HongKong.

Extremely nice place with shocking views you can sit there for hours without wanting to go home . You can have food and coffee there as well ,the resturant is nothing fancy just two cargo containers made like coffee shop. Parking space is small maybe for 20 cars. You going there because of the views not for coffee or for dinner. I recommend this place 💯 % especially in nice sunny days 😎

Amazing find, fab location with indoor and outdoor seating. Great cake, coffee a bit weak. Lovely staff. Need to book to get indoor seating as always busy.

Great views, service and delicious food. Well worth the walk from North Berwick

Visited today, 02/03/22 and despite not booking sat at a lovely little table and watched the sea world go by.Although busy, we only needed a wee bit of patience( they were busy interviewing new staff) and we were soon tucking into delicious bacon rolls. Both coffee and tea were tasty and enjoyed by both of us.There is plenty of seating outside, especially when the Wind drops. The situation of this cafe is idyllic and I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax .

Great wer place with amazing views and great food. Make sure you book a table as it was very busy but well worth a visit!

This was our 3rd visit to the Drift. And once again it was busy, no table available so we sat at the bar as you enter the premises and we were served our cappuccinos relatively quickly. The down side was when I was going to pay there seemed to be quite a bit of confusion with regards to seeing too paying clients and clients wishing to be either served or seated hence me being ignored and then told not to approach the counter as the assistant assumed I was wishing to order or be seated. You truly need a system that works for you and your clients.

The location is fabulous - right opposite the Bass Rock. The cafe is made from re-purposed shipping containers with big picture windows giving the most stunning view. In summer go and watch the gannets dive - amazing. The food is all homemade....lovely soup, perfect for lunch. And the cakes....what can I say...on our visit today my husband enjoyed his carrot cake and my chocolate peppermint cake was great - like eating a giant peppermint cream. Loved it! And the coffee is good too. It's definitely worth an excursion from Edinburgh.

Beautiful spot. Well kept. Service for hot drinks a little slow but totally understandable on a very busy new years day. I can totally understand why. We will be back
