Lovely cafe,great menu, friendly attentive helpful staff, delicious unresistable delicious cakes, my number one in Haddington.

Really charming Scottish tea room experience. The cakes here are a step above the usual. Don't expect tray bakes here it's very obvious these cakes are lovingly made in house to a high standard. Expect a good spread of choice for the vegan and gluten free as well. On your way out pick up a home made loaf for home. All seats are on the ground floor and enough room for a wheelchair or two. Toilet with a sliding door at the back, tight for a wheelchair but manageable. Surrounded by some fine antiques. You will have to watch your kids with those cake covered hands! Well worth a stop on a sunny afternoon.

Always lovely service, food was great, all freshly cooked, we had the meatloaf roll with fried onions, mustard and horseradish, chips were fab! Took home some cakes for later 👍🏼

Great service and delicious food. Not a lot of vegan (or in my case dairy free) but I had the chicken and avocado rosti which was amazing. Very good fries too! Others had eggs florentine and frankfurters which looked great. We took out cakes for dessert which were gorgeous. I opted for the carrot and walnut cake which is dairy free and could have had a vegan chocolate cake too. Other cake/dessert options look fantastic. They also offer milk alternatives for hot drinks.

This was our first time visiting Falko since they moved from Gullane to Haddington. Great spot along the high street and nice place for an outside seating when the sun is out. The service was good and quick too, seemed to have lots of staff around. We had egg benedict and kids one had cheese toasty and the other sausage and black pudding. The coffees were good and well presented.

Had been planning to go to falkos for breakfast for a bit, following buying their sourdough on two separate occasions. Place looks like a castle from the outside and inside it looks like a cafe stuck in an antique shop. There was a silver plated teapot beside our table for £35. Went in for brunch. OH had Eggs Benedict and I had the chicken and avocado rösti. It was very tasty. Rösti slightly gooey in the middle and avocado and chicken were cooked well and yummy. Afterwards it was hard to ignore the cakes and tried the Swiss nut tart. Was interesting and lovely but a touch dry. Should have come with a bit of cream. Overall impression was good and enjoyable.

Excellent. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent coffee. I had Eggs Benedict with bacon which was spectacular and my wife had the yoghurt scone which was a triumph! Excellent.

Great menu of classic breakfasts (the eggs royale was my choice) and a few German options. I'd show you the food, but it's too good for that, just go and try it yourself.

As always it's a wonderful experience! Fantastic cakes. I highly recommend this place
