Stayed in Musselburgh for a couple of nights went to gurkha last night one of the best indian meals I've had superb.

I'm a fairly regular user of this establishment and I have to say that it's a great place to eat.The food is delicious and plentiful and all the staff are friendly and efficient. The restaurant is spotless, warm and cosy.

Had a takeaway from Gurkha going off reviews and we weren't disappointed it was lovely just that little bit different from the standard. If we lived here we'd be sat in every weekend. The staff were lovely especially the young lady from Nepal on her first day, well done!

Nothing to look at from outside but the food was one of the best curries I have ever tasted. Four of us ate there and we were all extremely happy with our choices.Had to book because it was very busy.

I have eaten at many 'Indian' restaurants in England and at several places across the USA. We discovered the Gurkha whilst on holiday in Scotland and I've had to reset my benchmark for quality. This was quite the best Indian/Nepalese food I've ever had anywhere - so good that we went back a second time to check that it wasn't a fluke. Unconditionally recommended!

I've only had food delivered from Gurkha so can't comment on the restaurant but the food has consistently been wonderful.In East Lothian we are quite well catered for in terms of South Asian cuisine but Gurkha is exceptionally good in an already good field.I'm particularly fond of their lamb bhuna.I'm looking forward to visiting the restaurant at some point.

Very tasty meals with loads of meat in the curries. Attentive service and the place is very clean/covid safe. Will definitely visit again.

This restaurant does not provide hand sanitiser on arrival and the service was not the best. Unfortunately, My mixed meat starter was as tough as a brick. Saying that, The main course was ok but was basic Indian food. Seemed the staff preferred chatting to there friends whilst the young woman served the tables orders. Will not be returning to this restaurant.
