JP's Deli & Cafe in East Lothian

Came in for a cheese salad roll for my wife who is vegetarian. Got home to find there was remnants of roast beef in it. Please be aware if you are vegetarian or vegan that this company doesn't care about cross contamination. What a waste of £3.75

It's my favourite cafe and deli in North Berwick. The food and coffee are always good, as is the service from the friendly and efficient staff.

Nice regular cappuccino and a delicious salted caramel brownie slice.

The rudest staff I've ever experienced.Whilst waiting in the queue for a table for 2, the people waiting in front informed us that they were waiting for a takeaway, so politely let us go ahead into the cafe as we were eating in (I couldn't see through the back if there was a table available). I stepped forward to peer around the corner only to be shouted at by the guy behind the counter extremely aggressively telling me that there were other people waiting in the queue before me and that I should get back in the queue. I was really taken aback, and found it extremely embarrassing to be shouted at in front of all the customers. Needless to say I did not rejoin the queue and will not be giving my custom to these people again. I'll be advising others to stay away as this was one of the worst experiences ive had. I would honestly recommend customer service training to the staff here as the current standard is appalling.

Bought take away rolls while on holiday and can honestly say they were the best and freshest tasting bought filled rolls I have ever had . Came back twice more they were so good .

Good selection of savory, scones and cakes as well as tea and coffees. Excellent Covid measures in place together with friendly staff table service. Good value and would recommend to friends and family.

Lovely young lady served us today. Older lady on staff was a bit rude to younger staff member and rolled her eyes. Wasn't direct at customers but still not nice to see. Nice food and although I didn't check it out there was a cool selection of coffee beans available
