Dig in for the long haul, dwell on the taste experience of each mouthful and use the generous space between courses to reflect blissfully and anticipate eagerly. Book well in advance.

Early Saturday evening dinner in this bright, comfortable and intimate restaurant. The menu choice, though restricted, was excellent. The food was superb and served by helpful and pleasant staff. Given the high quality of food and service this really represents value for money. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Cannot fault the food or the service. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent, even though we were part of a large group (21 people), the courses were served on time and perfect. A feat in itself. Really friendly staff. Would not hesitate to go again or to recommend to friends, of which I have already done.

Absolutely stunning food...but we only go for a special celebration as it to good to spoil it by getting bored with it

The food here is the best in East Lothian and arguably Edinburgh. I gave eaten here for over 10 years and never had a bad meal. The fact that the produce is locally sourced only adds value to a hidden gem of an eating experience. Get a visit down on your bucket list or better still get booking!
