Terrible food this place should be shut down. A proper Chinese would make a killing not this one throw the dirty towel in and give the premises to a proper service.

Filthy Disgusting place to eat. Last time we ate there mice had ran over my friends foot, we brought it to the attention of the manager ( Tony) who simply said what the f… do you expect. We have been closed for months, Simply the last thing I expected to hear or see, believe environmental health have been in to investigate fully. Certainly would never return to filthy restaurant or order Takeaway.

Got a takeaway from this place and my wife was ill next morning with sickness and diorhea

Just had the worst takeaway ever. I ordered char Sui roast pork. It had never been roasted, no pink colouring tasted like gloop. I bought a take away for friends I can honestly say no one enjoyed their meal. Complete waste off money..!!!

Have used this Chinese for over 5 years but no longer will. Ordered a delivery tonight, queried my order as no extra prawn crackers and was told nothing is free anymore. I queried the bill as was nearly £30 for two people (and I didnt get my extra crackers) and the prices on the menu downloaded off website today does not match the prices they are charging, as they were different when the guy reread the order to me after challenging. Customer service was not very good especially after being a customer for over 5 years.

We have food from there quite regularly and we love it! Great standard of Chinese food, never disappoints! Always fresh ingredients with everything locally sourced!

Food is lovely, visited twice on holiday but be warned, you're not going to get what you had ordered! Got our order wrong both times we visited!

Visited on friday 12/7/2019 ordered meal bit pricey .but exspect that in holiday town shredded chicken starter absolutely disgusting rock hard either reheats or very badly over cooked .chicken noodle soup very bland .combination curry .very spicy.without having any flavour if you know what i mean .anybody can make a hot curry.but with no flavour. If this is all this town has to offer as a restraunt i pity the locals who have to use this all year round.i woudnt recomend this to anyone

Food was o.k., however, a bit too spicy for my liking (and most of the others who were with me). Server was friendly and warm. Unfortunately, the chef (who was also the owner I was told) was most certainly not good with people. A noisy table was seated next to us and was causing a real raucous... seamed to be a large family of locals who were celebrating something. Funny at first but one young lad was having perhaps a little bit too much fun... which became tiresome for other patron's in the restaurant. A few patron's had enough and left. As the noisy table beside us were locals, and the six of us, tourists from Canada, the mean old chef/owner took his anger out on us, dropping f-bombs and generally being offensive and belligerent toward us. What was amazing was that we were politely trying to calm the table down beside us, unbelievable. This after we spent over 300 GBP on our dinner and wine. Regretably, would not recommend. I would rate the food 3 stars, but the treatment from the owner 1 star. He needs to develop some proper people skills.

On arriving the lady at the front of the house asked me "what you want" and that with the facial expression of a bulldog licking apple vinegar from stingy nettles. After expressing a wish to have a table for one I was escorted to the dingiest corner of the restaurant from where I could observe that it was only slightly dingier than the rest of the place. After a short wait I was brought the menus by a waitress that at least managed to curve the outside of her lips in a skyward direction. When my order was being taken I asked for one of the bottled beers on the menu only to be told they were out, this process was repeated another 2 times before I had the fantastic idea of asking what beer they actually had. "SUN LIK BEER" apparently was all that was left and after a few sips it became obvious why it was still to be had in abundance. My starter arrived, I'd chosen the spring rolls and to say they were bland would be like saying bulldog lady was unfriendly, it's impossible to say exactly how bland they were. On inspection it looked like they were filled with white cabbage and diced luncheon meat, but being the eternal optimist I waited on my main course because it could only get better? And I waited, and I waited, bulldog lady was busy patrolling the tables and staring customers out and I waited. Finally smiling lady approached me to say that they unfortunately didn't have the ingredients to make my order and would I accept an alternative that was similar but with beef instead of lamb and different spices, apparently they'd anticipated me saying yes because the meal was then placed in front of me within seconds by bulldog lady who then dosa To be fair it was quite decent and the taste as well as the quality was good. All in all I couldn't recommend this restaurant but I've still given it 2 stars, 1 for the main course surprise and 1 because bulldog lady actually managed a smile like growl as I was leaving. Service poor, food half reasonable and ambient similar to that of a improvised eating area in your local Department of Health and Social Security office.
