Mr Crollas in East Lothian

My order was delivered fast. The food was great, especially the pizza.

I ordered a special fish supper, came to 11.90, the staff didn't feel welcoming, i sat there for 15 minutes, the fish tasted horrible, the chips all soft and dry, not worth your money

Overall this place is fine / nothing special - it's main problem is it's not value for money. If your food is so-so / pretty standard, prices should reflect that. Cheaper or free delivery would be a big help to customer satisfaction. Pizzas and chippy food are not bad/just fine, and will probably order again, but I've been served pretty bad kebabs several times hence only 3 stars overall. Either meat was too thickly sliced (and therefore dry) or there was nowhere near enough salad and sauces in my wraps each time.

My son ordered a take away from this place tonight, after 45 mins there was still no sign of it.I told him to call when he was told he had pranked called and gave wrong phone number, despite me being there during the whole call and they never even asked for his number.This is the last time myself or my family will be using this absolute joke of a place!!!!Had problems in past , the owner and his partner are so ARROGANT and has no perspective of customer service.Even got wrong order once , turned out meal had been delivered elsewhere and had clearly been opened and they tried to deliver it to us and no doubt our delivery which we had opened got delivered to other customer!!

Pizzas are absolutely delicious! Fresh and full of flavour - to the point where I am surprised they haven't been nominated for some kind of award!?

Avoid, used to use regularly but past three months food became uneatable (fish supper). 3 months ago even dogs refused the fish, 2 months ago they tried then refused, today it was stil a no no for me dogs eat the fish hence 2 stars. Not to mention price £9.50. Not coming back.

Hard to beat for fish and chips, always lovely service, kebabs are delicious too. Clean, organised and worth a visit.

Regular customer usually. After tonight I won't be back, over an hour I waited for a donar meat and chips and a large chips with two buttered rolls (they're 5 minutes away) when it eventually did come, the chips were dry (despite asking for loads of sauce!) Hardly anything on the chips so in turn made the butty dry! (Blob of butter on the middle of the roll). For what you charge it should definitely be better. I'll go to Joe's next time.

Whenever have ordered a takeaway, the food has been good.The portion sizes are big, so you won't be hungry for long.Delivery time is what it is, but that's not a worry.20/25/30/40 mins, no problem.Always been friendly on the phone.Prices are what they are, if people complain, they can easily say "thank you, but l shall not bother" !* this is only my review and my opinion and respect all others.Me personally would recommend a takeaway from Mr.Crollas.
