North Berwick Fry in East Lothian

Had wee carry out ..busy wee place but good proper chippy..worth the wee wait..chap in charge of it and next door is very welcoming and looks after all waiting

This place could benefit from a deep clean. Also the staff's aprons were very dirty, does not project a good image. Food was average for a chippy.

Can’t beat a wee fish supper from ‘the Fry’. Nice and crispy batter and always served with a smile 😊

I only passed on the pavement. Never did I once enter, but going by the many going in and out, it must be a great place. Sorry can't help further......

Had slightly higher expectations for a seaside chippy but portion was small for the price paid. Server was pretty miserable and place had complete lack of atmosphere.

Drove 60 miles for this chip shop recommended by a friend and was not disappointed, staff are lovely, food was unreal best chippy i’ve had by far, if petrol prices go down i’ll sure be back 🤣

Fantastic chips; crisp and tasty (the fish wasn't bad either). The proprietor was friendly and chatty too. Definitely a good place to stop for your fish supper.

Hard to bypass this chippie. Whether heading North or back down to the North East of England. Has to be the best around. Always a friendly greeting on arrival. Haggis and chips are superb and have been for 40+ years. Excellent.

Great place to grab a quick fish & chips to sit by the harbour! There is usually a queue but the wait isn't too long.

I / we have been to lots of places and bought food from chip shops. I dont like waisting food. This is one chip shop I ate everything. A smoked sausage supper ang my girlfriend got chips and cheese. We both finished everything. When we got here, there were lots of people outside waiting to get served. I never seen anyone not finishing what they bought. Good food well cooked. I give it 10 out of 10. Enjoyed every bite. I dont think the seagulls got much from anybody lol lol
