Staff wernt welcoming at all, didnt crack a smile, very abrupt. Table service was curt, no friendly chat.The menu was ok if you wanted a burger!We chose the mac n cheese & fish n chips. The mac n cheese was bland, watery & the cheese was quite greasy. The chips were poor.The fish batter was greasy and soggy. Wont be back & wont recommending

We ate out at the restaurant last night, and the vegetarian/vegan options are really limited despite a full vegan menu showing on their website. A vegan bowl is pretty much the only option. Basically £12 for a salad with some vegan sushi. I still eat fish and got the haddock and chips which was okay. Service was slow too. Come on guys, easy enough to make a veggie burger and maybe another option. Won't be back. 😔

Breakfast was from groupon for 2 people by the time you up grade to a larger size breakfast (which looked a normal breakfast) add coffee (3.50 a cup) total bill is still £20. So not a good bargain after all. Sneakily expensive. Food and service good tho

Not bad, bed was fine. My only concern is the hotel doesn't cater for contractors... Breakfast is served to late if you need to up and out

Lovely place. Staff nice. Breakfast is very poor. I wont eat here again. No toast or coffee/tea and no link sausage. Poor poor poor.

Atmosphere was amazing! Gorgeous decorated for the season. The food however was not up to par with a very limited menu and what was on the menu was sold out. The food we did order was tasty though. Clear issue with staffing as long waits and errors with the meal and drinks.

Went for a meal there was six of us 3meals okay the other 3 three were just warm pastry cold asked for one to be heated was taken away for about 30 seconds came back the same plate was not even hot. We think because we were all pensioners they thought we would not complain. Would not recommend them and we will not be going back.

When food arrived at our table husbands was piping hot but I could not get my knife through the pork and potatoes were luke warm. Complained and was offered something different so I had linguine instead. It was fantastic. They deducted my meal from the bill which I thought was very generous. Have eaten here before several times but was disappointed this time
