Shapla Tandoori Restaurant in East Lothian

First and last time. Chicken in Korma was dry and tough, little to no taste, and pakora was soggy mush. Waste of money. Family even thought it was a "fake-away" with me having bought microwave pakora and curry. Only good (ish) thing was the delivery time for Saturday night (albeit still well over an hour). Avoid. Better off with a microwave meal. :(

We had the Xmas lunch for £25 (a 3 course meal with 4-5 choices for the first 2 courses) The food was very good, and plenty of it! I am very happy we ate here :-)

Been here a few times now. Always decent food and friendly service. The tables are well spaced out for social distancing.

Visited for the first time last night. Excellent restaurant with friendly staff excellent service and a huge choice from the extensive menu. Food was fresh cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Looking forward to many repeat visits.

Was OK. Not the best I've had, Didn't really have must taste. The guy taking the orders needs to just relax a bit, felt like we were an inconvenience . The two you guys helping to serve and clear away were polite and friendly. Not worth going back.

Ordered meal for delivery at caravan park. No phone call to say it had arrived and was put at the bar. Once collected it was cold. Ordered the tandoori special nan which is cheese, onion and garlic, unfortunately no different from the plain nan. No curry sauce with the chicken tikka main meal. Very disappointed with overall service and meal.

Big portion, reasonable price and really good service.
