The Castle Inn Bar & Bistro in East Lothian

Had a truly wonderful time here today!!The sun was shining so I sat in the beer garden with the dog.Both the dog and I were well looked after and my food (burger) was really tasty.Staff friendly and attentive. Thank you

Popped in for a late lunch after helping my mum move into the village. Service was excellent and the food was amazing!I’ll be back and treating my wife to a lovey meal.

Never fail to satisfy with the menu here.I absolutely LOVE the fish n chips,and I wouldn't go anywhere else for it than here.The staff are always very friendly and helpful,and service is fast and ordering is easy.Very reasonably priced as well,considering the size of the plateful you get.I'd give The Castle Inn 10 stars if I could.

I had a great evening here at the Castle Inn. The service was very good and friendly. We were a big group, the food arrived at the same time and was visually and tastefully very good! Thank you very much for a great evening.

Went here for food with a large running group after a trail run, and the service was excellent! Quick and efficient, nice atmosphere and generous portion sizes. Food tasted lovely and was exactly what we needed!Would recommend!

Stopped in for lunch on a walk. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and a great choice of menu and specials. There were 7 of us and we all had something different and they were all great - the chips especially looked very tasty!

We had a fantastic stay at the Castle inn, the staff were super friendly and accommodating of us, the room was spot on and the food, absolutley lovely. A must stay and great pub!

Portions are generous but service for the bill was a bit slow. Also felt the unusually speedy service for the fish was perhaps the reason for the fish being a bit tasteless and slightly undercooked

Friendly from the moment I entered the bar, squeezed us in even though we were very last minute! Lovely cozy vibe. Food was amazing the best steak pie ever!!! How did your chef make the gravy?! Clean, cozy and heart warming. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely superb visit. Four adults and a dog and the staff were great. Even did a sausage for the dog and have us some biscuits for her. Food was superb, and no chasing us out of the door when we had finished. Lovely afternoon. Will certainly be back. And so will the dog. 🐶
