Lovely friendly welcoming staff, great choice of both cake and food. We sat outside - nice area. Tea, hot choc, sausage roll all fab. Cake a little overly sweet and dry but ok.

Love spacious airy cafe. The staff were so nice and gluten free choices were available.. A very good pot of loose leaf tea. And very reasonable prices. Will definitely go again.

This a nice little cafe serving a good selection of savoury and sweet bakery dishes. There's also a selection of chocolate bars. The internal dining area is above the kitchen and it's bright and airy. There's several tables in a courtyard with lovely plants on display. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly too with bowls on the courtyard.

Bright and airy, plenty of gluten free options - breakfast is missing the usual items though, no sausage or black pudding, but what you do get is very tasty.Gluten free bread is available.Dog friendly. As the name suggests, it's a loft - this means it's inaccessible to those who can't navigate stairs (didn't see any lift or anything), but there is seating outside. Weather dependent obviously!

Such a great cafe! Food is great quality and the staff make you feel part of the family! Breakfast menu available. Lunch menu great for a light bite or fill your boots with cakes after! Really is a great place!

American here. I’ve been all over Scotland and this place has the best food I’ve eaten in the entire country. Have come nearly every day since I found it. I recommend the stovie, the avocado toast, the isle of mull sandwich, and the apricot cake.

Good cake and cup of tea, always nice and clean, friendly environment and efficient service. Value for money too. One of my favourite cafes in Haddington, also good for coeliacs.

A brilliant wee cafe tucked away at the back of a charming little lane, The Loft is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or tea. The interior is bright and open, with art from local artists adorning the walls. The food is incredible - I was blown away by the butternut squash fritters with halloumi! Sadly I was too full to enjoy a cake afterwards but they looked incredible so I will be returning for those. Friendly staff as well!

Good coffee but full breakfast is not great for the price.

What a lovely cafe and bakery. The food is delicious, the tables are well spaced and the service is really nice. You can even buy the art work displayed on the walls. They give fresh local produce with generous portions at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend that you stop by for a bite!
