I took my parents to this popular restaurant as I thought it was a good one. We were very disappointed by the food (crab was smelly and bad quality, squids tasteless, chips very greasy, fried haddock and fish cakes avarage), and the service (the lady at the entrance, which also took the order was rude). We also found an expensive service fee on the bill, which I’ve never paid before in my 10 years in Scotland. We don’t recommend this restaurant, we will never go back.

Had a fabulous time here last night. Service was great & the chowder was delicious. Bonus was we could bring our dog and he received 5 star treatment....water, biscuits & a blanket to lie on. Thank you .

The food here was totally amazing and such good price! An amazing winter version of the Lobster Shack on the pier. I recommend getting smaller plates of everything and sharing!

Loved this little place! Best fish stew I ever had (not much left for pict as we devoured it before I could take a picture). Fish and chips were very good as well. Very nice people. I highly recommend.

Absolutely fabulous! We had a take away and wow, just amazing, I had the fish goujon burger delicious, hubby the burger with bacon and cheese he agreed delicious, kids orders from the wee ones menu, squid and chips and half fish and chips again perfect all fish tasted like it had just been caught so fresh, even the chips tasted a bit special and the tartar sauce yum yum...this is not a fish and chip shop, this is a gorgeous restaurant with spectacular sea views that just happens to do take aways, even the take away coffee was great! . Prices very reasonable for the quality of the food. The lovely lady that took our order could not have been more helpful..a pure delight thank you will definitely recommend and return, wish we lived closer!

Best chips I've ever had, they have now set the bar for all other chips in my life.We had an evening meal here and the food was lovely, especially on a cold winter night! They have a few gluten free options - I went for the salt and pepper squid, which came with a delicious sriracha mayo sauce. Portion sizes are generous, service is top-notch.Can't wait to come back!

Great fresh tasty classic seafront dishes in a small friendly environment with views out across the east beach. Gluten free options were clearly marked on the menu, and I was impressed by the way the waitress checked and respected needs to ensure their delicious food was safe (as it ever can be) for this Celiac. First time having salt and pepper squid out (usually have to avoid this sort of place) and it was spot on! Went back for dinner which was also fab

The seafood platter for 2 is well worth it and delicious; very satisfying and generous portions. The staff are welcoming and the views are lovely. It is a small place, so better book in advance.

Had the most wonderful and relaxing lunch here on our visit to North Berwick. The food was all really fresh and very tasty. We absolutely loved the Seafood Chowder, if they bottled it we would have bought as much as we could have packed into our car !!! The staff were ever so lovely and pulled out all the stops to accommodate our dog, which we really appreciated!!! Would love to go back.

I can't remember the last time I had lobster, perhaps Belgios in Covent Garden in 2004, so when you are next to the harbour where they bring them in it seemed a good (but, naturally, expensive) opportunity to re-acquaint myself and introduce the Mrs. This is a small restaurant that punches above its weight in quality however has been a bit hobbled by the Covid restrictions due to small size. The menu was very seafood, so naturally my nine year old ordered chicken gujons, the sibling kids fish and chips and we had the sharing platter. I was a bit worried I wouldn't eat it all as we ate fairly early for dinner, but it was so good it was demolished. The staff are friendly, but were working hard with it so credit there. Prices were OK, obviously lobster is silly expensive so check first if you are on a budget.... A solid five stars, and maybe some time in the future we'll be in that area again and will revisit.
