Went there today for lunch and glad I did. The haddock and chips were excellent. Probably the best fish I've ever tasted in Uk. Could not get any fresher. Great friendly service too. Prices reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.

The service was really good, they have a great menu and cocktail list. The food was great, the macaroni was lovely! Really nice place to go for a meal, would recommend!

Food was average. Prices a bit expensive compared to others in area. And waited 45mins after ordering for food to arrive. Other customers that came in after us received there food quicker. No apparent reason for delay we were not ordering any food that should have taken long to cook.

We had been for a long walk along the seafront and were absolutely freezing. It was an absolutely superb Cullen Skink we enjoyed and it was just ideal for warming us up. The staff were very professional but friendly too. We'll be back!

First time visiting the Ship Inn since moving to Musselburgh and was not disappointed. Excellent food and service and a cool venue.Had the scallops to start and the breaded Fish n Chips, both of which were tremendous.

I have been twice now and the 2nd visit was just as amazing as the 1st. Service was Amazing with very polite Staff. Food was absolutely brilliant and had a great Vibe. Keep up the good work folks and can not wait to get into the Courtyard come Summer.

Mother recommended The Ship Inn for something to eat . Not disappointed, Lovely place, Staff friendly and cheery behind there masks 😷 Fish was awesome . Also the haggis scotch egg was awesome for starters.💯

Had lunch here with a friend. The refurbishment is excellent, I was totally surprised at how roomy it was inside, and even the toilets were very smart. The staff were most pleasant, and the food, especially the chips 🍟 were delicious 😋. There's a lovely courtyard for the summer, and at the moment the Christmas decorations are absolutely amazing.

Always excellent. Food all well made and seasoned, great cocktails which are genuinely tasty rather than an after-thought, and the ambience is made better now with the great Christmas decor. Owners, chefs and waiting staff doing a great job here.

Our local pub/restaurant. We're so lucky. We keep coming back again and again. The food is so good, the staff are awesome and really attentive.Everything on the menu is great, we've been slowly working our way through all the dishes.Complements to the chef, keep smashing it.
