"Under new ownership, The Strawberry Barn is a beautiful and unique wedding venue, restaurant, cafe and farm shop, with it's very own fruit farm! We do our best to ensure every visitor has an experience to remember. Whether you are looking to have your wedding here, pick some fruit, or simply have a coffee, we would love to see you! Glen and the team took over ownership of The Strawberry Barn in October 2019 and look forward to welcoming you. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch! We are also dog friendly. We ask all owners to take responsibility for their dogs and keep them on a lead at all times."

Was a lovely wee cafe & only us 7 sitting in so quiet inside whilst outside was buzzing as an MMA event was happening next door. Great service and Baristas made a great coffee ☕️

An absolute shambles! As a group of hospitality workers, we are fully aware of the challenges that the current situation is posing on our businesses. However, I do not think this excuses terrible food and poor service at a Christmas party event.Firstly our starter was served on a bed of potatoes that were raw. We told staff politely and said 'just tell the chef' - we didn't ask for a different dish or for it to be returned... we just said- inform your chef that he is serving raw potatoes. When myself and a few colleagues were finishing our mains the staff came and started clearing the table... we hadn't finished eating?? Surely it's basic etiquette to wait for the whole party to finish eating? Then the dessert came, which the staff had mucked up the order so there wasn't enough of a certain desert to go round... that was it - No apologies, no rectification of order, just told there wasn't enough now as the chef had only made so many and away the staff went.Poor poor show.Considering it was only running at half capacity due to all the covid cancellations you would have thought they'd have tried their hardest to give the guests that did show up a really great night. This was not the case!Do not book this place for your party - it is absolutely dreadful and the wee jumped up owner is rude and unprofessional. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

Wedding venue is great. I did a friend's wedding there a few weeks ago. Such a nice venue with plenty of space inside for guests food and dancing. Staff are awesome.

A really lovely place to stop on the A1. When we went we sat in the function room as the cafe was being refloored, and the function room is lovely. Very cosy atmosphere, nice aesthetic, log burners, hay bales, recipes on clip boards with puns for the names of dishes, everything a hipster could want. High chairs available as well, and friendly staff. Plus the farm shop next door had a nice array of local produce.

The food was brilliant. I had the East Linton burger. Was cooked to perfection. Nice beer too. The venue is brilliant for all events. Staff are all great and very welcoming. Highly recommended

Amazing venue inside not the bleak barn we were expecting. Beautifully decorated inside. We attended a function there and found no fault. Lovely evening.

My wife and I stopped here for a quick lunch on the way between the Cairngorms and York and it was genuinely brilliant. The staff were lovely, service was great and the food was outstanding. The attached shop had a cracking selection of craft gins and other bits and bobs. I wish it was closer to home it's so good!

Interesting place has a shop and then a cafe bit in there as well. Children's play area on the right hand side and free parking. If you are a wheelchair user you might want to park at the bottom though as some bits are steep and it's gravel.Prices in the shop are high but it's good way to try stuff you don't see in the supermarket, so you pay that premium.

We popped in on a drive from Edinburgh with our friends. We had a lovely lunch, loads of choices and really good value. Staff were really nice and the whole set up is great. Looking forward to a return some time soon.
