Tweeddale Arms Hotel Restaurant in East Lothian

Was staying locally in the Bus Stop accommodation and had walked into Gifford for lunch. We managed to pre-book. We arrived early so had a drink in the large beer garden. We then decided to stay outside for lunch. The selection of food was good and the quality was really nice. A locals bar which should be seen as a good thing 👍 Service was pretty quick and friendly. One friends pizza took a while to arrive, but he was offered something else instead. Will definitely be back

Nice place, pleasant staff but £11.55 for 1 pint and 1 bacon & cheeseburger, no chips is a bit steep

Stayed in a neighboring hotel but came here for drinks. Lovely staff very friendly regulars, like a proper wee village pub..bar, lounge & pool area..outdoor areas to sit which is a very large area if the weather was good. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again.

Lovely pub/hotel set in a charming Scottish village. Superb breakfast. Friendly and accomodating staff. Comfortable rooms with all the expected amenities. I really liked the old fashioned lounge.

The staff were very helpful and surroundings were very nice, food was good. Arrived late but it wasn't a problem and Suzanne was very helpful with that, and with initial booking. Bed was big and comfortable.

Had the most beautiful xmas lunch, with our lunch club. Lovely food and the staff couldn't do enough for us. So cosy and beautifully decked out for Xmas.

Food was really good though service at breakfast was a bit hit and miss. The building is a real warren, I would have loved a chance to explore. Unfortunately the creaky floors and thin walls meant I got to know more than I wanted about the other guests. The bed was far too soft for me and the shower was hardly worth getting undressed for

Clean, comfortable, friendly, good food, loved the furniture, lounge etc. Excellent staff! Would be great place for a family/friends overnight/weekend do. Loved the bar too with friendly locals and dogs!

Fantastic service , great food , great nights sleep this hotel is giving customers exactly what they want we wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again thank you for some great hospitality .

Love relaxing drink in the beer garden. Staff very helpful. Booked a table to eat at 17:00. Nice menu, food lovely and staff very helpful.... Would recommend The Tweeddale Arms
