108 Chinese Take Away in Edinburgh

Food was “ok” bit cold .very rude staff . Ordered 4 cans of juice that never showed only to phone (20 times ) to be told “we don’t have any juice “ and can’t refund as we need to get in contact with just eat so they can refund. Told them would go down Myself in car and pick the £ up for the juice only to be told No! Staff are very very rude

Ordered for delivery - gave a great time frame - I thought was very optimistic. They acknowledged the order and then - nothing - np answer when I called - just left sitting order is now 20 minutes late and I don't want it as I have ordered from another place. Do not waste your time and money ordering from here - the name is now changed too to 108 Chinese takeaway - so I guess it tanked under the name of Rose Chinese takeaway

A long drive up to Glasgow earlier and a few jobs before heading to Edinburgh for tonights hotel, checked in and ordered food from here off Just Eat.Then I read some previous reviews and cringed whilst waiting for the delivery.The driver arrived and gave me a quick call as requested and due to covid restrictions I met him in the car park, very friendly guy.Back to the room, opened the food which was perfectly hot and tucked in..I travel alot weekly eating in and ordering out at many places and I can honestly say this is a good chinese that serves delicious food, ignore the past negative reviews and give them a try..

Final nail in the coffin tonight with this ‘Authentic Chinese’. Food delivered and every ounce of it was cold. I do not understand how it came cold from a couple miles away. The attitude of the girl on the phone was very poor. Laughed at me over the phone when I said every ounce was cold and delayed my dinner further as she would not refund the money until she inspected the food (implying I’m a lier). Never again will I order from here, food quality was also very poor. Goodbye 108 takeaway

Foods nice from previous time i ordered. But on this occasion i did not receive my food. Phoned up after an hr and a half of waiting. For the guy to have no idea where it is. No clue. My daughter is starving now. Its 8 clock. Now i need to sort something eles out. Very disapointed

Ordered Pork rice noodles. Very generous portion. However there was not a lot of pork, mostly onions and rice noodles and slightly oily. Still tasted good though.

Salt and chilli chips have gone downhill, hardly any veg or chilli, litterally only chips with black pepper, really been let down they used to be delicious

This Chinese is delightful, it was a late night meal after traveling for hours on the motorway. If in Edinburgh again, I would go here again. The meals are delicious.

2nd poor curry in a row, the same issue each time. Dried out at the edges and chewy. Second chance had. Such a shame as I enjoy their dimsum.

I just LOVE their aromatic duck with garlic chili fries. It's always a special treat.
