52 Canoes Tiki Den in Edinburgh

It's not often you come across a great cocktail bar where everything on the menu sounds amazing. This place has amazing cocktails, many of the rum based and come in a range of tiki style glassware. Unlike more hipster joints, these cocktails are packed with taste (and alcohol). Prices are very reasonable and it's a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Very good selection of rum, although that night they didn’t the one we wanted but you can still find happiness in other rums! Go for Appleton Jamaica!

Spent a great couple of hours in the company of the fantastic bar staff. Cocktails were great! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it 😁 We will be back.

Great bar with a lovely staff, a competent Barman and a good choices of variation on the traditional cocktail. The show around their making is a nice touch to your drink (nice touches like a "flambé" on a cocktail). It's a fun place, with good music and a nice mood. A Greta place to spend time with friends.

Walked around for ages deciding where to eat in Edinburgh. Very glad I ended up here. The staff were all lovely, and the food is absolutely delicious and a bargain.

Fan of rum? Trying to get into rum? This is the place for you. I can't speak for the food as I've never tried it yet. Bar staff are more than willing to talk about their favourite rums and make recommendations. Overall a great place to chill out and enjoy some decent alcohol. My only complaint is that the toilets - although nicely decorated - have no soap!

Drinks were great, bar staff even better. Only gripe was that the music was somewhat uninspired and repetitive.

I have only discovered this place recently and am totally in love with it. The drinks are great, the rum selection is inspiring and now a personal challenge for my husband and I to make our way through. The food is great, straightforward and so tasty. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.We've gone as a couple for a date night and twice with a group of friends and the place worked well on all occasions.I would recommend anyone looking for a night out in Edinburgh to try here.
