Abida in Edinburgh

We were staying in the Holiday Inn Express Airport Quarantine hotel & needed some comfort food. We ordered 2x momo’s and a chicken biryani between two. Huge portions & very tasty. Big difference compared to the bland food on offer in the quarantine hotel. Thanks, you made our day!

Used to recommend as a takeaway, can't fault the food, but yet again missing items from order, phoned twice to get 'no problem' thencut off, and as expected no delivery or refund of missing order! Terrible customer service!

Terrible delivery service, ordered through Uber eats and ran over time by 30 minutes, nothing on the map to show where the driver is so I called and they kept getting my address wrong and then eventually told me it will be with me in five minutes…still nothing arrived.

Waited over an hour later than estimated delivery, only to receive chicken in vegetarian order, will never use again!

Delicious! Food wasn't greasy or heavy, very happy. Definitely highly recommended. Will be back for takeaway very soon.

We have been ordering from Abida over last month or so and happy to say that each time our food has been amazing. Delivery bang on time with very polite and pleasant delivery person.My husband ordered prawns again and was delighted that they were back to there normal large size .What more can you ask for.Thank you for taste food.

I had a lot of Indian food in my life, but this one was the worst one. Onion rings and veggie samosa disgusting, garlic bread not the best at all... Mushroom rice tasted like it has expired already, the king prawn masala and chicken tikka wasn't the worst but still not good.

Inconsistent, we usually enjoy but Friday 26.6.20 we ordered our usual lamb bhuna and it tasted so different. Rubbish flavour and lamb was tough. Rice was swimming in water too. Do you have different chefs in or something?

A nice place that does really great food. A touch expensive. Nice staff

We were passing this restaurant and liked the cleanliness and decor through the window as well as the prices so we decided to stop and have a meal there. It was a fantastic meal especially as we had not planned to eat out. We ordered one Thai meal and one Indian meal to share between the two of us. Both were excellent meals and complimented each other with very generous servings. The staff also were very courteous and helpful explaining the dishes to us without being overbearing.
