Great service in a fabulous venue

There simply aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe the dining experience at Prestonfield house. From the moment you arrive and are welcomed by gorgeous staff in tartan to the attentive waiters who telepathically know when your cup needs refilling to the totally sublime food cooked and served to perfection, this experience is one you will never forget. It is truly a unique, sophisticated and elegant place.

Amazing place for afternoon tea. Not one part wasn’t exceptional. Lovely location and really welcoming staff. Will definitely go again!

I felt that Prestonfield was over booked ,and the staff were over worked , we sat for a while before we were served. Alas we were served scones that were really raw inside

This is my favourite hotel in Edinburgh and I have no faults. It's such a treat and the surroundings are jaw dropping, the atmosphere and staff help make it the amazing venue that it is. Food is delicious.

My favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. I would eat here every night if I could. Exceptional staff and exquisite food with a wine list fit for royalty......not to mention the beauty and splendour of the building and settings! Fabulous

Beautiful place but sadly the afternoon tea did not live up to expectations!! At £70 for two it was mediocre, scones dry, sandwiches lacking thought, dry haggis bon bon and tiny sausage roll. Small cakes were the only decent thing there but even they were wonderful. Very disappointing.
