Nice place for a drink. They have a lot of seats and don't have loud music. So a good place for a drink and a chat. Good selection of wine and some beers

Cool place to have a Tennets and fish and chips. Probably not the cheapest but very chrispy, good fries and had garlic bread. Location is clean, Food tastes lovely, tiny bit loud music but got back to my roots after long time being away from Edinburgh. Can recommend the fish and chips.

Really enjoyed our meal here, despite being short staffed due to staff illness etc Scott (duty manager ?) couldn't have been attentive and helpful. He really did himself, the other staff working on a busy Friday afternoon and the premises itself proud, top job, top fella.

It is situated in a very good place, close to Princes Street. The interior is very nice and really high class! The food is good and the staff is friendly.

One of many All Bar One's I visited. Sadly I don't think there was a shot of vodka in my cocktail. It should have given me a slight kick. Sweet and cold without an alcohol aftertaste..

Was here for friends birthday booked last minute but they managed to fit all of us in , big group of us as well. we had a private room as you went into the pub which worked for us perfectly when the lights got darker they even brought us candles and checked up to make sure we were alright . cocktails were lovely , a bit pricy but worth it . all staff were very nice and put up with a lot of horrible people for one night . thank you all bar one we will be back👍🏼☺️

Great range of cocktail. Staff were very friendly and took time to explain the menu. We really enjoyed our meal and drinks here.

Service was poor Thursday night we waited a long time to be even asked if we wanted a drink? When eventually the one and only waitress who was doing her best took our order instead of a glass of iced water we were given a glass of ice!! On menu was house coleslaw as a side but they didn't have any at 5.30 ! The food that did come was perfectly alright but nothing great.

Fantastic service! John was brilliant! Service uplifting with banter and always wanting more. Bird cage recommended good value for money!
