What more can I say. Fab pub, efficient staff, reasonably priced, great live music, and the best Long Island Iced Teas in Edinburgh 👍

Had an absolutely brilliant time in The Amber Rose on Super Saturday. Great service, good atmosphere. Loved the live music that came on later in the evening too. Definitely get the loaded waffle fries with bacon and cheese! All round, fab day!

Went there before the rugby (Sco Vs Eng) and as you can imagine it was hugely busy. Despite that the service was timely, drinks poured well and people wearing masks.Happy to go back and would recommend it as a place to go before any major event in Edinburgh.

Really nice pub and the staff looked after us really well. We hadn’t booked but they managed to find us a table on a busy Saturday. They have a great range of Scottish beers (Innis & Gunn mango ipa) and the half price cocktails were a great deal.

Always seems busy with good, welcoming atmosphere. Managed to get there for a quiz night, which was great fun. It's bigger than it looks. It's more of a dining place/pub than a bar pub. There are some cosy outdoor seating as well. Perfect for small groups who want to eat, drink and sit at a table. The food is quite good. Nothing out of ordinary. My veggie burger was a nice surprise, as it was not your standard dry crispy bean burger.

Visited in November 2021. Went about 5 times in a 7-day stay: twice for breakfast, twice for dinner & drinks and once for drinks only.Seriously recommend the Vegetarian English breakfast and the chip shop fish (great chips, food not at all greasy).They have great deals for drinks & meals. Shared the cocktail pitcher with a friend: comes to 3 glasses per person, for £6 pp.Staff is always helpful and very friendly.For Fridays and Saturdays, one should book a table. Very busy.

Great place for a cheap but decent quality cocktails! Although I had the app to get the 50% off but had to order at the bar and showed I had the app but wouldn't give me the 50% off! Still a great place for a night out!

Good location and good value for wine. Food is okay and very friendly staff. Dog friendly.
