Angels With Bagpipes in Edinburgh

Amazing food and service. We’d had a few of the at home meals from here during lockdown and decided to dine in when reopened. We ate here before Christmas and again tonight for an early-Valentines meal. Both times the food was absolutely delicious, presented well and service was impeccable - wine was fabulous too. I’m sure we’ll be back again in the not too distant future. No photos to share as we couldn’t wait to tuck in!

I wish I could give 6 stars! I had the turkey... everything was cooked to perfection! The flavours were stunning. Each element was amazing. This was the best meal I've ever had.The staff were incredibly attentive. If you're in Edinburgh and you can visit, it's a must!

The food was delicious and the staff friendly, polite and helpful what more can you ask!! It's not the cheapest place to eat, but the quality of the good was worth it. I would definitely recommend here as a special place to have a meal.

First visit on early December, and was wowed by the food. Cod and filet steak were fantastic, beautifully presented, cooked and tasted superb. Service and atmosphere, excellent. Very welcoming and would highly recommend anyone to visit. A superb dining experience.

We were a little early arriving so they kindly put us up in the little private room when you first go in since they had a cancellation. It was a lovely gesture. Staff were amazing, food was extremely good! Overall a great experience and I highly recommend!

Came here for my birthday and was not disappointed. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere was excellent. Was served by such kind staff and that made the evening even better. We would love to go back and definitely recommend them for dinner!

The food here is absolutely superb, probably the best meal I've had in the city. The prices are also really reasonable. Don't get me wrong the positions aren't huge (as you'd expect from a restaurant this) but considering the quality of ingredients and great drink selection I was surprised it didn't cost a lot more

The food is fantastic at angels with bagpipes a great selection of locally sourced recipes and it’s on the amazing historical royal mile in Edinburgh. Staff were great, really lovely. Great place to go with friends or family and they do a good lunch deal.

I ate here with my fiance to celebrate our engagement. The staff were wonderful and seated us in a private area with a glass of prosecco each on the house. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff were so helpful and attentive. We had an amazing time - would definitely recommend!

Visited Angels with Bagpipes on 29/07/2021 after a recommendation from a friend in work. Husband and I were not disappointed. Food was delicious, reasonably priced, especially considering where the restaurant is, and staff were really helpful.
