Unable to fault this excellent spot for lunch. Great veggie options and great service. There was a queue out of the door and round the corner at times and the friendly server was consistently calm and relaxed.

Cheap n cheerful! Really vegan friendly, we loved the vegan haggis toastie. Such good value at £4 esp in a central spot, and loads of stuff on offer. Staff are friendly and helpful :)

Came here after visiting the museum nearby and were quite cold due to the wind however even sitting outside we got quickly served a lovely hot sandwich each (the single staff member even put together a fresh ciabatta for me as the chilled cabinet with pre-prepped options was empty). All of us said our respective sandwiches/toasties were some of the best we have had in a long time. Drinks were good too. Me and my Dad were both sorely tempted to get one "for the road" as we leave Edinburgh tomorrow and will be fondly remembering the experience for a while.10/10 food and drinks10/10 service8/10 for limited, but comfortable, seating. Not a problem on a sunny day as there are benches and greyfriars cemetery nearby for sitting and eating but in Feb it is a little cold for an extended rest.

This was a very pleasant little food place in Edinburgh! I rather enjoyed the bacon and cream cheese bagel they have on their menu, and that, washed down with an ice cold Irn Bru, was just the ticket. Would recommend!

Amazing sandwiches and really pleasant location. My daughter who never eats cheese or tomatoes wanted to come back the next day for another mozarella, pesto and tomato focaccia.

So good, we had to go back the next day. Ask for a Bacon, Brie and Cranberry bagel and a coffee. It’s delicious.

·

Really good food! Very affordable and super friendly staff! Definitely recommend!

·

Our toasties and ciabbattas were delicious! They've got a really good selection of different options all made there and then! The service was good and prices reasonable. Would definitely recommend :))

Compared to grabbing a sandwich from Sainsbury’s this was a far better place to eat. Sandwich/rolls delicious and very good value as far as independent Edinburgh cafes go. Staff very friendly. Not much indoor seating area but ideal to grab something in the go.

Popped in here for coffee and toasties. I was very impressed with the veggie haggis and vegan cheese toastie, coffee was good also and the place is very vegan friendly. Will be back for more. Prices are very reasonable and owner is very tentative.
